John gazes back at Jeb stoically, and the rogue notices a slight change in the barkeep's demanor. The killing of the Redbrand, as well as his near-death encounter with the nothic, has hardened his spirit. He nods back and draws his shortsword, ready for a fight.
Maglath pushes open the door and the party breaches through, entering a dusty crypt. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The sound of taunting gets louder through a door to the left, while directly ahead are double doors sheathed in tarnished copper plate.
There are three sarcophagi in the crypt, bearing the likeness of human nobles. Propped up against each are animated skeletons, whose necks crack as they turn their heads towards the party. Covered in scraps of rusty mail, a fiery malevolence is in their eyes as they scan each one of the party.
They rush forward, ignoring everyone except Maglath!

Seeing the skeletons ignore everyone except Maglath, he deduces that there must be some reason for them ignoring the rest of the party. He drops to one knee and takes a shot at the skeleton near Maglath.
To hit: 25 dealing 6 + 5 piercing damage.
He will then try to duck behind some piece of debris or outcropping he can find in the room out of sheer habit, forgetting the skeletons were ignoring him.
Maglath blocks the arrows from the two bow wielding skeletons with his shield but in doing so he lets the third with the sword find an opening. The sword bites deeply.
instinctually he grabs his war hammer and smashes down on the sword wielder.
Jeb quickly realizes that the cloaks must grant safe passage through the tomb, as he doubts the brainless skeletons could recognize that Maglath likely was the greatest threat and to target him first.
Jeb and John race to engage the one of the two archers. As they do so Jeb's rapier bursts into eerie green flames, casting dancing shadows about the tomb. At a signal from Jeb, John attacks with his short sword and dagger. Jeb follows up with a thrust from his rapier at the archer. The flames from his rapier leap to strike another of the skeletons, should they be within 5 feet of one another.
Action: John attacks with his short sword.
Attack: 1, Damage: 3
Bonus Action: John follows up his thrust with a slash of his dagger. The daily sparring lessons with Jeb are starting to show real results.
Attack: 18, Damage: 3
Action: Jeb flanks the skeleton and casts Green-Flame Blade and strikes it with his flaming rapier.
Attack: 23, Damage: 8, Sneak Damage <if appropriate in this instance>: 6, another target within 5 feet takes 3 points of fire damage as the flames leap from the 1st target to the 2nd target

"What are those Redbrands involved in?", Arikon asked incredulously as he watched the skeletons attack the party. He channelled another Eldritch Blast on the nearest skeleton still standing. Attack: 7 Damage: 1
Two of the skeletons are instantly pulverized by the party's retaliation. The final skeleton attempts to evade Murmen's flame, while also dodging Arikon's blast.

The final skeleton's skull splinters into fragments with Maglath's devastating strike. The light drains from it's hollow eyes, and it collapses on the ground, inert.
The gilded walls and sarcophagi are now covered in bone shards. From the door on the left, growing voices indicate someone is rapidly approaching. The golden sheathed double doors directly ahead show no signs of activity.

Lyre will duck behind the sarcophagi and load his crossbow, taking the ready action to loose a bolt at any Redbrand that enters through the door on the left. Regardless, he will attempt not to be seen.
Maglath moves quickly to the door on the left where the noise of someone approaching comes from (right in front of it if it opens away from this room or if it opens into this room just away from it enough to let it swing open).
Once in position, he places one hand on the wound caused by the skeleton, concentrates on the small leather pouch around his neck, and allows a small glow of light to appear in his hand and spread to the wound.

The dirty wooden door creaks open, and a faint sobbing can be heard inside. A burly Redbrand peeks out, and in his hand is a wicked three-ball flail. Upon seeing Maglath, Murmen, and Arikon, his brow furrows in confusion.
"Wait, who are you..."
His eyes widen as he realizes who he is facing.
"Ah, help! It's the men from the square-"
As he recoils in surprise, the party gets an opportunity to strike.
