Rinn hangs back a little, and smirks as Silenus listens intently at the door. An arrow nocked on his bowstring, but not drawn, still glancing around the room as they move for anything shiny (Perception: 11).
Robwin follows when Silenus pushes open the door. His hands already half-casting his protective magics, just in case, while he simultaneously mutters the starts of various spells in preparation for what they might find…
Before stepping further in, he rush of air makes him check the other side of the door to make sure it can be opened from the inside in case it closes shut behind them.
He then holds his lantern high as he looks around the room, and then up to the ceiling to make sure more puddings aren't trapped up there.

Seeing the finely detailed desk and various items about, Rinn pushes past Silenus as he checks the back of the door and holds up his lantern. His dark vision helping him where the lantern fails. "Would you look at this?" he exhaled as he looks over the desk full of presumably dust-covered things, "This is some pretty impressive collection here." As he looks around the room, he keeps an eye out for anything that looks particularly valuable, then rummages through the desk (Perception: 22 and/or Investigation: 12).
The room is lightly dusted and the room is very well sealed.
There is a clean ten pages and five scrolls that could be used for spell work. There are two ink pots and many quills. There are a few maps of the keep and engineering notes.
Silenus looks at the paper and scrolls but then keeps moving, not interested in those at all. He does take a look at the maps and starts trying to orient himself to where they are and where they've been (using his Outlander - Wanderer feature that allows for a good memory/recall of maps). It's not quite the same as maps of the outdoors but for the most part a map is a map.
(DM Question - Looking at the engineering notes, with his proficiency with Tinker's tools, would Rinn be able to glean any useful information from them?)
This and the room you entered from are two of five on this, east, side of this floor. There are similar rooms on the other side, according to the maps.
The way up, is in the far north of this floor in the center.
There should be a way down in the center south wall.
Based on what you saw so far, it is either collapsed, underwater or a bit of both.
Robwin looks over Rinn’s shoulder trying to make sense of things but it’s not his area of expertise. “Can you get an idea of where we need to go from these papers?… Do we want to work our way back towards the entrance from here?…”.
Rinn turns the papers around to get his bearings on the schematics. "I think there is a way down back there on the southern wall. But we're either trying to move a bunch of rocks or swimming to get further down." He points to the other rooms that show up on this floor, "But there's a few more rooms on this level. Never know, there might be some cool little trinkets to fill our pockets with." He gives a shrug and grins.
Robwin grins back, knowing Rinn’s love of ‘trinkets’. “Okay, so maybe we clear this floor… Keep the water at our back, then work our way up…”.
He glances at the papers, ink and and scrolls. He remembers back to a day - not too long ago - when he would have gathered all of these supplies up and hoarded them for future use.
His grin sours a little at the thought that things have gotten a whole lot more ‘life and death’ since those days, and ’paper’ doesn’t seem all that important right now… Maybe he’ll come back for it. He’ll just make a mental note of it…
(OOC - Haha Silenus' perception rolls have been real good so far :P But then again, Rinn's have not been great all game so who am I to talk.)
Rinn nods, hanging back a little as Silenus listens at the door, but keeps an arrow nocked and ready, and his senses out for anything moving or making sound (Perception: 12).
(I'm taking at as I think Silenus knows he's supposed to pay attention and listen and watch for trouble before barging in but he never really knows what he's looking for and he's too excited about what's around the next corner to wait to find out)

Silenus smiles at the background sounds of the world he hears through the door.
He turns back to the others.
”Sounds like the universe dudes. No baddies.” Silenus says. “Unless you’ve got a better idea, I’m opening the door.”
Rinn hangs back a little, and smirks as Silenus listens intently at the door. An arrow nocked on his bowstring, but not drawn, still glancing around the room as they move for anything shiny (Perception: 11).
Yian makes sure she's in cover from whatever may be behind the door and waits for it to open!

Silenus, not seeing any suggestions coming his way pushes the door open and looks inside.

There is a sound like a gasp of breath as the door is pushed open, breaking an airtight seal.
The room was, apparently, once a nicely appointed study.
There is a finally detailed desk, hammock, drawers and other items easily attributed to a cartographer or engineering scribe.
Before stepping further in, he rush of air makes him check the other side of the door to make sure it can be opened from the inside in case it closes shut behind them.
He then holds his lantern high as he looks around the room, and then up to the ceiling to make sure more puddings aren't trapped up there.

Robwin will peer in the door and if it seems reasonably safe would head in too. As always, his first thought is to look for spell books and scrolls…

(( My apologies for the delay. ))
There isn't anything magical within the chamber.
The room is lightly dusted and the room is very well sealed.

Silenus gets the gist of their location, three levels below the thrown room which is where you encountered the ghoul demons.
Rinn gains a basic understanding that the keep has (or had) working geothermal plumbing; water in sewage out.

Silenus commits the map to memory and looks back at the others.
"Alright, yeah, lets knock on these other doors and see who's home before heading up," Silenus says.
He heads out of the room and looks to the next one, listens at it for a moment (Perception: 10 ) and if he hears nothing he opens it.
(OOC - Haha Silenus' perception rolls have been real good so far :P But then again, Rinn's have not been great all game so who am I to talk.)
