The dwarf stands back to allow you all to haul out your bounty. Dazlyn would look to Kaemgen, "Particular meaning? Nothing specific that comes to mind from my studies. My first assumptions were simply that, perhaps, one of the creators of this temple hid their, or a warriors, prized possessions and wealth for another noble individual to find. Someone not plagued with greed so superficial as to give in to an obvious trap?" He'd reach his torch higher. "They're valuable items indeed. Spending some time to identify them in detail would be suggested." The archaeologist would point to the tankard in question, as well as the shiny plate that was found with it. "As for the gems, well, that's Halia's specialty. Most pay her a visit to appraise their jewels."
Any further searching through the area would prove empty and nothing beyond what you already know or have found. You've successfully cleared the Dwarven Excavation site.
Looking around at the others, Kaemgen would suggest that perhaps they should camp here for the night and on the morning they could either return to town to sell and divvy up their bounty. "Part of me thinks it prudent to just move on to the next job expeditiously but some of this is a bit bulky to just haul around with us. Specially if we are hoping to add to our loot?"
Kaemgen would take another look at the gen the statue is holding though. "Do we really need to leave that? I'm still thinking a rope around it, pulling it down from the safety of fifty feet away..." He would sigh and shrug. "Well I suppose in the greater scheme of things that perhaps it is best left here. Not every risk need be taken."
"It might be good to camp here and maybe someone that's got skills with magic could try an' identify that tankard and the armor like Dazlyn suggested. I'd definitely like the armor, but I'm not gonna put it on before havin' someone see if it's cursed or not."

All stood still for a moment until the statue would jerk backwards (it's forward now) and begin it's path down the track. The familiar grinding of stone on stone could be heard as it went until finally the gem was inserted into the recess in the wall. Click. Then with a gentle pouf of dust, the base where the greedy statue once stood would free itself and pull away, revealing a hidden compartment. Without even having to take a closer look you knew you've discovered treasure. The light glinted off of the shiny and reflective hoard within causing a prism of colours to dance around the room.
Oh. Ok. I guess I was assuming that we'd re-close the room off or something. All good. He can just as easily look back to where the gem is even if not actually in sight :)
Hansel has no magical ability to identify enchantments, but if the decision is made to rest here, he offers to inspect the beautiful shiny plate armor, which he finds quite attractive, and see if he can determine its qualities...

Mr.Dark nods to the others, clapping dust and grime off his hands and goes for a short walk out into the fresh air. His worn boots crunch across the floor past the bits of yellow ooze and eventually stepping over the fallen orcs at the threshold of this place. They smelled bad when they were alive, they'll start to smell worse soon. He's seen the dead before. It doesn't get any prettier. Once out in the night air he glances around and takes a deep breath. He absently flips his golden coin in the air, catching it deftly. It makes a faint ringing noise as he flips it. He likes the sound. He eyes the sky suspiciously. They were sent here to warn these two dwarves of dragon activity. Best be done with it quickly. They'd rest tonight, but early morning, he'd be looking forward to leaving this place.
After a bit of a breather he heads back in and pulls out his sleeping roll, preparing to camp for the night along with the others. Glancing around he realizes some basic camp etiquette is yet to be worked on by this group.
"Alright, we need a watch on. We got enough for two at a time. Switchin off every 2 hours. Eight hours o'rest, so ere'one gets their 6 hours sleep. Ill take the first watch with whoever wants to with me."
He goes and finds a spot with his back to a wall and sits down against it. He pulls out a set of three dragon ante and begins playing a modified solo version.

Inspecting the shiny plate armour over several minutes while Mr. Dark steps away to take a breather, Hansel discovers it never gets dirty. It could only be, Plate of Gleaming Armor. At the same time, if any one spent some time with the tankard, they'd learn that it's a Tankard of Sobriety.
Making his way out of the temple, Mr. Dark would see Norbus asleep against a pillar facing the entrance. Continuing the path where there should have been the bodies, Dark noticed that the dwarf must have dragged them outside and piled rocks on them in a fairly respectable burial considering the circumstances. But that didn't wash away the blood or viscera and it surely didn't clear away the scent that clung with death.
Ting. With a flip of the coin outside, staring out into the night sky, Mr. Dark takes in the fresh and calm night air. Nothing but the stars stared back at him until he turned away. The sound of fluttering wings taking off to the sky and flying out of his peripheral towards Phandalin.
Pitter patterin' and gettin' atterin', Mr. Dark rallies the group to prepare camp for the night. During that time watches are suggested and assigned. Auric and Dark take first watch, passing the time with a good game of Dragon Ante. The night was cool and quiet. It may have felt long, but went on without a threat presenting itself.
When you all settle into your watch and sleep rotation, the night would begin to pass. No one disturbed your camp. You're all able to rest and morning comes peacefully.

Morning vittles heated and coffee made, Kaemgen walked around to the various bedrolls and kicked feet until everyone was awake.
"It ain't taste, and there's not a lot of it, but it's hot and it's ready so let's get to it," he calls out even as he pours himself a cup.
"Back to Phandalin, sell the less portable of good, and on to the next job?" Kaemgen suggests after everyone is awake and more or less packed. "I think there was gnomes, a windmill or an old ruined temple? Who had the map? What'll be quickest?"
Stretching and uncoiling from his rest, Auric gets up and prepares himself for the day, His dreams were of bright gems and shiny coins, and he awoke to recall that they had indeed found some of both!
At Kaemgen’s words, he opens the map and studies it for a bit, saying, “Aye, good Kaemgen, back to Phandalin shouldst we go, but by way of the healer who resideth south of the town, that we might warn her of the dragon as our quest demands.”

Scott still a bit grumpy from having slept on such hard ground. Hard as stone you might say. Accepts the hot coffee and warm meal from Kaemgen and replies to Aurics idea. “We should see it on the way back to Phandalin. Hopefully it’s as easy as ‘come back to town there’s a dragon about in these parts’ ...” He goes on to pantomime how simple this job should be.
Once he’s done eating he’ll head outside toward the broken door. (The first one the group encountered on the previous day.) Standing there waiting for the others keeping an eye on the horizon.
Hansel offers to take watch with Xenophon, so that they might both benefit from his elven night-vision. The morning departure is somewhat delayed as Hansel takes a little longer than others to prepare, insisting on brushing his hair and powdering his face before leaving.
(If no-one else is prepared to claim the plate armor that always stays clean, then Hansel would be very happy to wear it. Delaying their departure by another 10 minutes while he dons said armor)

Mr.Dark wakes up. He listens intently to the description of the magical items, then when they've been fully explained, he snorts and goes about packing up, showing no interest in either. He lets them sort it out. He's sort of here for the journey he's starting to feel. Scott's presumption about the task being easy makes Mr.Dark grimace though, "No better way to make sure somethin is going to be hard, then to declare that it 'should be easy'. Soldiers are superstitious folk. You'd a'been lynched before ya got out of the barracks for sayin somethin like that. Well...least it'll be interesting!"
Ensuring he's carrying at least his share of any new weight the group has to lug back to town, Mr.Dark efficiently gets ready to march out.

Once we do though, it comes off you're share if you want keepsies on it."
