The poison gushes through your body, and you feel your body begin to shut down. Darkness fills your vision, but Trill's song surges within your mind. You shrug of the effects of the poison. Jimjar says, "I'm going. We have to leave." The npcs are starting to panic. Jimjar begins climbing the ladder.
Zack Sees Aimon sway and look a bit pale for a second, but then just as quickly he recovers and seems to shake whatever was affecting him. Zack lets out a breath of release and then joins the others to make his way down. "You're a lucky one Aimon" He says rubbing Aimon's shoulder with the back of his fist, as if some of that luck would rub off on him like some kind of rabbit's foot.

Aimon sways but then his head clears. He laughs loudly with relief mixed with joy at still being alive. He smiles at Zack and blows a kiss to Trill. And then climbs quickly up the two sets of ladders to join the rest.
”Do we take the plunge and jump into the waterfall, or do we try to climb down beside it?” He asks.
"Jumping will be much faster, but as Alkanos pointed out, it may not be safe given how much gear we're carrying. I say we attempt the climb, but if we're spotted or caught under fire, we let go and drop into the pool." Caelynn looks towards the rest of the group for their thoughts.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Trill darts off and returns with the rest of the rope if no one else grabbed it. She peeks to judge how long a distance they're dealing with here.
6 (Not sure what sort of check you might want here, but thought I'd roll the d20 at least.)
((I'd asked ooc, about the spikes, but I don't think Trill would really have the knowledge of climbing to know about using pitons and hammering them into the rock. She does know rope and rigging though.))

The drop from Velkynvelve is about 100 feet. However, there is a mass of webs about 20 feet below that is filled with giant spiders. The waterfall has formed a large pool where it hits you the ground. The only part that is free of webs is around the waterfall. The pitons and rope would work, but it would take a long time to climb down and you would have to go through the webs.
Aimon looks around for something to anchor the silk rope to.
”I don’t fancy a straight 100’ swan dive. Some of us might survive a jump from half that but some of us are going to snap when we hit that water. If we can climb down at least half way and jump we might make it.”
He starts making a loop in the rope. If he can anchor it near the top of the waterfall he will.
”Jorlan did say to jump, and I don’t think he was lying. But maybe he was guessing we’d survive.”
"It looks like we can hammer some Pitons here and tie off the rope we aren't taking to climb down more easy. Maybe lower the gear down once we get a few people down and we can have it done quite quick." Zack offers. It seemed a better alternative to just jumping or braving a normal climb, which Zack was not good at in the first place. "Maybe make a harness to lower each other down. The strongest should be the last to better make sure other can be lowered if we choose that"

As this is happening, the cacophony outside dies down into silence. Eldeth take a quick peek out the door, and the ducks back in and says, "The demons are dead." She grips her hammer tightly.
The harness is ready to go. Jimjar says grimly, "I'm going to risk it." He dashes out the door, down the bridge , and jumps down the waterfall. About ten seconds later, he shouts, "I'm fine! Follow me!"
After his exclamation, you hear Ilvara about in Undercommon, "The prisoners are escaping!"
"I don't know about you all, but I don't fancy staying here much longer." With that, Caelynn breaks into a sprint, diving off the bridge after Jimjar.
Assuming she lands safely, she'll swim to the edge as soon as possible. Carrying her gear and Stool isn't easy, and she doesn't want exhaustion to set in and make her drown.
Trill hops about nervously, before leaping and skipping after Caelynn, giving her a few seconds to land and clear the area before diving off herself, arms spread and enjoying the moment before gravity fully takes hold and her flying leap becomes a plummet.
If she lands in water, she'll swim as soon as possible to not get landed on.

Aimon whoops with enthusiasm, feeling momentarily invincible. He survived near death at the hands of the drow guard, and survived a deadly poison. Now he was going to jump off a waterfall.
He hitches up his gear, races to the edge and leaps off and out over the waterfall, somersaulting before going into the water toes first, watching as he falls to make sure he doesn’t land on Trill.
Alkanos was the last up and although he found it reckless, it seemed like there was no other chance. The drow had fought off the demons and were now after the escaped prisoners. It was jump or die. And so he jumped after he waited what he thought was enough time for Simon to get out of the way.
After Alkanos jumps, Topsy, Sarith, and Eldeth both dive in afterwards. Alkanos, you see the drow rushing over to the waterfall as you disappear over the edge. The fall is both exhilarating as well as terrifying. Mist from the waterfall splatters you as you fall. You hear a short chant from above. You turn your head slightly to see a mote of red flame rocket out of Shoor's outstretched palm. You hit the water, but take no damage. Some more splashes announce the arrival of your companions just before the fireball impacts the surface of the pond. The explosive power of the fireball sends shockwaves and mist through the air, narrowly avoiding the people who have already jumped. Alkonas, as you swim through murky, gray to the shore of this 40 foot pool, make a Perception check.

Constitution Save (OOC will see result and then decide whether to add the Bardic Inspiration): 17
OOC that’s a pretty good roll but hate for this to be a really deadly poison. I’ll add the Bardic Inspiration: 5
17+4= 21
Assuming that save works - Aimon scoops up the coins, the mask, the bottle and dice and races up the ladder to join the others.
