Caelynn, now standing on the shore, instinctively shields her face as the force of the explosion hits her. Once the air has cleared, she glances around to make sure everyone is down here and unharmed. At the same time, if possible, she'll back up so she's under the webs and harder to hit from above, tugging anyone else who's out of the water with her.
As you all climb out, Eldeth asks, "Now what? We escaped, but where do we go?"
Jimjar thinks for a moment and then says, "The closest city I can think of that isn't Menzoberrenzan is Graklstug. I know the general direction if we want to go that way." Sarith and Eldeth nod in agreement. A couple of crossbow bolts strike the water behind you.
"Whatever we do, we need to do it fast," Sarith says.
As this is happening, a large gray shape rises out of the mist and water. It looks like living slime with bits of garbage embedded within its fluid body. In all your minds, you hear in a powerful, watery voice that bellows, "Flesh for the Faceless Lord!" It lunges foward and strikes the closest person, which would be Zack. Attack: 9Damage: 7
"What the!" Zack says as he dodges out of the way of the things strike. Zack will then Disengage and move away from the thing, then cast Magic Stone, giving two others a stone. The two who take it can make a ranged attack with a +6 to-hit modifier doing 1d6+4 Magical Bludgeoning Damage on hit.

Aimon, heart still pounding from the dive into the water sees the slime creature rear up out of the water too late to warn Zack. He kneels quickly, raises the hand crossbow, sites carefully and shoots a bolt at the creature. As soon as the bolt is released, Aimon rolls to the side seeking cover from which to set up for his next attack.
(OOC With the slime lunging and striking at Zack I'm assuming it's within 5' of him giving Aimon advantage so he can use Sneak Attack to shoot the bolt. Once he attacks he uses Cunning Action as his bonus action to hide:
Trill hops about on the bank(?) and cries out at the slime monster partially in Mistress Ilvara's voice "Accept your fate, learn to obey, and you may survive." "@&#*(%$@"
She casts vicious mockery (WIS Save, DC 13) or 3 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack.
((Thanks! I made her for a PbP game where they were shipwrecked and the DM bailed before they even got off the beach, so I was excited to dust her off and give her another chance to be awesome!))

Sarith and Topsy will throw the stones enchanted by Zach. Attack: 17 Damage: 6 Attack: 8 Damage: 9
Slime Wisdom Saving Throw: 8
After missing Zach with its lunge, it draws back to strike again, but a flurry of strikes decimates its oozing form. It melts back into the murky pond. Jimjar says with a throwing dagger in hand, "That was fast."
(Quick update: School has started up and I work night shift. I will only be able to respond in the morning and late evening on the days I work. When I don't, I can respond more often. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. In addition, the guy who plays Alkanos has dropped out. I'll remove his character when the opportunity arises.)
Aimon whoops as the ooze dissolves in to the murk. But then he looks around quickly to see if anything else is coming out of the water at them. Then he remembers the lift the drow use to get down from the jail area.
”We have to keep moving. They won’t take long to come down and see if we survived that fireball.”
Adjusting his pack and gear he walks over to Jimjar. “Which way is this Graklastug? We should leave now.”
Almost as an after thought and after a pause he asks “Is it safe?”
"Gracklestug is the city of the derro. It's safer than Menzobarrenzan by a long shot," Jimjar replies.
After his answer, he begins moving to the tunnel to your right. "Hurry! The drow will be on us before we know it if we don't leave now."
I'm assuming you will follow him. If you do, I need to know what pace you want to go. Slow will increase your stealthiness, medium is normal, and fast decrease your perception to notice danger.
Aimon considers their situation and the dilemma that faces them. If they move carefully the drow guards will be on them in a very short time. Move quickly and they run over a cliff or into an ambush.
”We should move as fast as possible until we get away from here. We can slow down once we’re sure they’re not on top of us.”
He looks into the tunnel Jimjar wants to head down.
”if we run for it we won’t be quiet so we might as well light a torch or two so we can all at least see. We can douse them once we need more stealth. For now, run.”
Caelynn follows them into the tunnel. "Agreed. Speed is essential to us until we're sure we've lost them. Then we can slow down. How long will it take to reach Gracklestug?"
(This feels like a good time to point out that Caelynn has the Natural Explorer feature. I've put a description in the spoiler below.)
You have a favored terrain type. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for proficient skills when you make an INT or WIS check related to it. While traveling for an hour or more in your chosen terrain, difficult terrain doesn’t slow your group’s travel, your group can’t become lost except by magical means, you remain alert to danger even when you are engaged in another activity, you can move stealthily at a normal pace (while alone), you find twice as much food while foraging, and while tracking creatures, you learn the exact number, sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
Aimon looks back as he follows Jimjar into the tunnel at a good speed. He’s happy to see Caelynn following. He almost stumbles when he sees her pack. Is that Stool peeking out?
He catches himself and watches the path ahead, careful not to lose Jimjar but trying to keep an eye on their surroundings to make sure they don’t run into trouble at full speed.
