Irommek is overwhelmed with an unusual feeling of contempt and anger at the sight of the ghasts. He always hated the smell of the undead, but he’s taken aback by them now. The dead rambling in the world of the living was just…wrong! He was seeing the creatures through reborn eyes.
Spitting on the ground in front of the ghasts, he raised his hammer and gave in to Valkauna’s influence.
“You’ve outstayed your welcome in the land of the living like a bad drunk at a harvest festival!”
Fueled by more emotion than conscious thought, Irommek ran to one the ghasts and pulled radiant energy from the ether and aimed at the creature.
Make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, the target takes 3d10 necrotic damage.
Shaking his head, Irommek cursed to himself. “Settle down you silly old dwarf. You’re acting like a rookie, slinging spells like a teenager showing off when ale and women are involved!”
If nothing happens, Gertrude will keep attacking the ghasts. She'll be position herself so that she can be opposite Brunella [OOC: advantage because of flanking, if not possible, just use the first roll, please]

Gertrude holds her head sideways, her eyes narrowed to slits, her rage only slowly subsiding. "Artus, what are these creatures? How did Orvex get turned into one? And why is it important for you to bury these bodies? So far you haven't bothered when we had fights."
"This is Ras Nsi's doing. I feel responsible for not dealing with him long ago. Perhaps now I have the chance. With your help, if you are still committed to it."
A statue of a giant snail looms before you. In place of antennae, it has five pseudopods ending in rocky clubs. Along the walls, six iron keys hang in small niches above stone plinths. Behind the statue, a carved pedestal in a wide alcove has a keyhole set into its base.
A key is already in the keyhole and the pedestal seems open. The cube seems absent, in its place, a scroll made of snakeskin.

And so the last ghast falls.
At this moment, Artus' feelings are a mixture of rage and sadness. "I need to bury the bodies." Drabonbait, smelling of honeysuckle, helps him.
"Of course, that's what we're all here for. To stop the death curse and put an end to all this!"
Then Gertrude turns her attention towards the shrine. She slowly, silently and very carefully walks towards the open doors.
