Felix will chuckle at there responses while shifting his wait... "A yeti going for a leg and a couple of scars and a few broken noses. Nice to know we all have had a few scrapes before coming here."
Felix arriving at the spot will feel soggy from the sweat and bug repellent contemplates taking the bandages off."How much time do we have for this rest I think in need to lose some of the silk bandages and it takes time to re wrap them."
Brunella fingers the dire wolf tooth around her neck. "I was a little girl of fourteen summers, and lost my village in the jungle. I was attacked by a dire wolf. I was scared, and when it bit me I thought I would never come home. I just remember seeing red, and then nothing after that. The village elders said they found me covered in blood. The elders said that I had the raging heart of a warrior. I carry the tooth of the wolf with me to remind me where I am from.
"Are you ever going to explain what those bandages are?", she says gruffly.

Brunella remembers stumbling upon one of those plants when she was fifteen years old. These plants have a bad attitude and, moreover, they are poisonous. Better stay calm and do not do sudden movements. The weakness is that they are extremely slow.

Felix staring at her will ask her"Do you really want to know?" Felix chuckles"Inete has seen it, Isn't that right sweet heart!" Looking in there direction of the plants will take off his studded leather and the soggy black silk. As he begins to unravel you can see that he has deep scars all over his body. Running up his torso and down his legs, bit and pieces cut out of him. He doesn't remove the bandages around his head he actually ties them tighter. "Well what do you think, cool huh? I think I win when it comes to scars!" He begins to us the repellent rubbing his body puts his armor on with out the bandages only keeping his head wrapped hoping he'll feel less hot in the jungle and places happy (mask) on.
"Those bandages will just get soggy and moldy in this jungle heat, silk or no. Your sweat should be exposed to the wind and sun, that is how your body adapts to this climate", says Brunella helpfully.
She then turns to the others. "These plants are poisonous. Head back to the boats without making sudden movements". She begins gathering any items that were taken off the boats, and loading them quickly but without erratic movements.
Inete continues to ignore the despicable, bandaged man. She must focus on the mission.
At the end of the meal, Musharib checks how much water has been sterilised. "4 sacks of water. Not much. it is enough for 4 people for half a day. We better boil more in the evening... and leave those flowers alone. So, we go on?"
"Yes, let us go on brother",says Brunella to Musharib. "In the evening we can look for a source of clean water. And Kurma has said that he has prayers that can help purify the water"
Irommek takes another swig from his waterskin and gathers up his shield and helps Musharib prepare the canoes.
“I know I’m going to be thankful I have this armor later, but this heat and humidity is a wee much. I hope I can adjust like Brunella soon. I’m so hot that even the thought of drinking ale is not appealing right now. Tell me more of your clan brother. I would like to hear more about Hrakharam before the fire lizards drove you from there when we are on the water and away from those suspicious looking plants.”
"I wish I could tell you more, Brother, I really do. But Hrakham fell many years ago before I was born. I grew up hearing stories about the forge fed with a lava so hot that would make a fire elemental jealous. Rivers of iron and adamantium, I tell ya! Only a few months back two of my tribe were able to sneak in and see what kind of monsters were inside. Fire Lizards! Blah, they are lizards, stinky all the same. But they spot it. Oh yeah, they did. The Moradin's gauntlet. A relic that would make the skinny chultan merchants cry. Ah! I tell you that."

The journey through the jungle proceed quite nicely and uneventful in the afternoon. The time passes. Birds sing songs as the sun is leaving, roars of huge dinosaurs are heard every now and then. One hour before sunset, four lizardfolk approach the canoes. Three of them, welding shields and javelins block the passage on the river. The last one is a little behind and he is the one doing the speaking." Ala kira una toka! "
Musharib stops the canoe 30 feet away from the lizardfolk: " Does any of you understand these fellows? "
“Well, we specifically rubbed ourselves down to REPEL the insects, so I guess we can safely tell them that we have no flies and such to give them for lizard food, so they might as well let us pass so we can be our way.”
“Hmmm, unless they want to barter passage for my bottle of Taj. I can’t say that I prefer it to ale and would gladly part with this sweet concoction in this heat…”
Gertrude doesn't like the situation at all, they are at a disadvantage, in a boat one behind the other.... so she steps out, very slowly, one hand on the canoe to stabilise it, a Handaxe low and non-threatening in the other... she slowly wades towards the lizard folk, pulling the canoe with her. Kurma is doing some talking that she doesn't understand.
OOC: how far are we from the lizards, how far are we from the second canoe?
OOC Musharib stopped his canoe 30 feet away from the lizardfolk. I assume the other canoe did the same. So, if Gertrude steps out the canoe she is still 30 feet away.

Musharib then puts down the campfire and prepare the canoes.

"You didn't win Felix, look at this. See this, Maremae Vahana, a half-elf lover broke my heart."
He smirks in attempts to keep spirits high. He gathers some supplies and assists in loading the boats while chuckling to himself.

Brunella speaks in a low voice. "Perhaps we can give them fish that Kurma got. I can hunt more food for us later tonight."
OOC: Perhaps Kurma and Oniss (assuming he is good at persuasion) could see if we can bribe them with a couple of fish?
