Afamrail decides that hammering in the pitons to wedge the door will attract more attention than foolishly just opening the door like he did. He will need to pay more attention to Raine's intuition going forward.
"We could plan to take on that room. If we start a fire on the other side, set a trap by these doors and find a single door way and hallway to make a stand in we could force them to fight in a location of our choosing where we only had to face one or two of them at a time. But I suggest we investigate this stronghold a little more first."
He looks around this room again. There are the double doors to the main hall where the feast is taking place, the door they entered by, the door to the south with the polar bear. These they have explored. Turning to the hallway that headed north to another set of doors he steps that way.
(OOC - was there another door in this hallway before getting to the end with the double doors? I think there was, but not sure, if so, Afamrail will listen at that one).
There is a door going up there, but you can't hear anything from it, than the first double doors you hear the same scampering of paws, and the door at the end of the corridor you hear nothing.
Afamrail looks at the others, and locks eyes with Raine. He readies himself to open the door and he raises his eyebrows, asking without saying anything, is this a good idea.
Tana notices Afamrail's gesture, and remembers the polar bear episode from the last room. Assuming a position close to Afamrail, he nods his head and approaches the door.
Afamrail lets out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. No room full of giants or polar bears is a plus. He quickly moves through the room searching the bed, walls, behind the shirts, under the hides, the table, looking for hidden chambers, doors, and panels.
Raine gives him a nod of confirmation before he opens the door. As long as there aren't giants inside, she has no qualms about exploring the rooms. Mercifully, it's uninhabited, and she follows him in, checking if there's anything magical.
Nodding at the advice, Afamrail silently agrees with it. He too would like to avoid killing any innocent creatures in this endeavour. He fears that might be impossible but while they can, they should still avoid it.
This room contains a long table with chairs around it, with a larger, more outstanding chair. A fireplace stands in the north wall of the room, beside the door you came through, another door stands on the same wall.
No giants notice you all.

(You picked the bottom corridor, so there is no other door in this corridor.)
(OOC Okay. Then Afamrail will go up the corridor to the top corridor and listen to any doors along there)

When Afamrail sees the others ready, he opens the first door and looks in.
In this room is a bed, two chairs and a small table, the room has different hides on the floor. Several shirts are hung on the walls.

You find nothing else in the room.
Afamrail looks between the door where they heard nothing and the double doors with the scampering of paws. He glances to the others.
"What say you all, explore the quiet room before dealing with whatever animals they have on the other side of these doors?"
"I say we avoid the animals altogether. I don't want to fight anything else that we don't have to."

He opens the last ‘quiet’ door and looks inside.
This room contains a long table with chairs around it, with a larger, more outstanding chair. A fireplace stands in the north wall of the room, beside the door you came through, another door stands on the same wall.
Once again Afamrail methodically searches the room looking for hidden chambers or panels.
