As Shutorn continues to move toward the tree line, the golem seems to follow, moving past the slowed party members. A closer look would reveal though that the golem is not in fact pursuing anyone, bit simply moving in a straight line, smashing anything that happens to be in its way. At the moment, that something is Dorian, who is loudly conversing with an someone on the far side of the clearing, in so doing, effectively yelling right at the stone golem.

The treant dashes to catch up to the Golem, nearly reaching him. The Warlock covers cast distances s are dashes 30ft, disappearing mid-stride, only to emerge from the aether ten yards nearer the pair of collosal entities and running another 30, all the while strange magical machines first around her, as well as a soft bed on which her grey cat has hopped, riding the pillow like a charger into combat.
Ctenmiir growls from within his coffin as he sees her approach.

If Dorian's still under partial cover (I haven't a blessed clue where anyone is), that ups his AC by 2 so that the attack misses. Otherwise he'll cast shield (using a 2nd level spell slot) so that it misses (just let me know, so I can mark off the spell slot). He'll move further back and cast Acid Splash at it again. DC 15 DEX save or 5 acid damage.

After deliberation, I think you'll have to use shield. The cover you once had was inside a temple that is now rubble. You can find new cover, but most of what you'd be hiding behind in this fey garden is far shorter than the golem (even at the 9ft the book has him), to the point where I don't think it would be much of an obstacle to hitting a target its within 10ft of, so cover from a dagger throwing leprechaun, yes, from micro-Godzilla, no.
Golem Dex save: 12
Sam's second fire bolt strikes rock, chipping it a bit, as the first shot sails by, striking a tree in the distance.
At this the Ent points at the Lizardman as his expression turns from anger to outrage. He balls his fist in a show of anger directed at Sam, but recognizes the threat the golem poses is more immediate and maintains his pursuit. His movement appears slow, but that is an illusion created by his great size in humanoid form.
*Something about treants: they wont usually try to hurt humanoids any more than is necessary to subdue and remove them from their area of oversight. Those knowledgeable of the wilderness would likely be aware of some legends or lore to this effect st the very least. They will probably start this knowledge, so I'm posting this right in the man thread
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Huarache: (hold action...)
The treant is able to intercept the plodding brute as he dashes past the gleaming patch of difficult terrain created by Shutorn's spell. As the golem reaches rhe edge if the forest, he slams both fists into his ancient adversary.

The golem should have disadvantage because of the cloak of displacement.

To give some idea of where everybody is...
Whose turn is it then?
Anyone who hasnt posted since Post #1245:
Huarache and Shutorn, plus I said Sam could post twice since i skipped him, so he csn still post this round.
Hoping to slow down the golem to allow the treant to catch up with it, Shutorn casts grease at the golem's feet. DC 15 Dex save.

The glossy film coating the short grass makes a squelching sound as the golem continues to tromp through it to the edge of the woods.

Apologies, here is Huarache's action:
He will pull a battery out of his bag and jam it into a slot on his blunderbuss, which begins to glow. (Branding Smite)
Attack: 9 Damage: 13
Attack: 18 Damage: 14
Whichever hits first deals an extra 10 radiant damage. Also, how's ol' Pebbles looking? Chipped? Crumbling?

*Prior to Leann's last hit, he was at about 1/2 of max hp, he looks somewhat worse for wear now.
The Eladrin calls out words of encouragement as Huarache's shot sets the unflinching behemoth aglow: "That's it, don't let him get away!"
"What's it to you anyway?" Ctenmiir calls in response. She shoots a cold stare back at him and he speaks no more.
Back to the top of the order. Players are go!
Leann continues to take the dodge action...
