Huarache climbs out of the pit. Also, I guess there really is nothing around the zappy demon head. If the magma has cooled, Huarache will explore that area.
The side door was what the perception check was for earlier. Is passive Huarache or Leann could have seen it, but given the hay retreat, but guaranteed.
So... do you open the door? You could always try the number 3 (of those in the main room with the brazier)
"If anyone is going to look for secret doors, or search, I'll help out." Leann says as she nods to the new chamber. "If not I'll move and open the next door, but will wait if anyone wants to look around first." Are we heading towards the direction the compass is pointing or away from it? Would rather not meet up with this strange creature it points towards if we can help it.
The compass is pointing northeast, entering the room adjacent ro the magma you are facing east. The door at the far end of the room opens to the south.

... per the journal Kealish left in the treasury, he claims to have subdued it but not destroyed it. This is all I'm the ooc thread as it is a big lore dump and it seems more like an in-world reference volume by keeping it out of the.main thread. It's one if the most recent posts there.
You notice the outline of a regular quadrilateral groove traced into the stonework of the North wall. It appears to be a secret door of some kind.
DC18 Investigation check to open it. [Given enough time im sure you'll get it, but failed attempts add to the time ticking by until the planar craft collapses to the ground)
"Hey, Huarache," Omiy calls out to the tabaxi, "check this out, I think there's a secret door here." She points him to the hidden entrance expectantly, "can you figure out how to open it?"
Huarache decipher the design mechanic implemented by the architect of this facetious abode and with some well implemented modifications defeats the security of the concealed passage. The square stone recesses into the wall, then slides to the left, parallel to opposite side of the wall from that facing you. You see in the space beyond, a stonewall hallway, similar to the one you are in, but narrow, 5ft wide. The hall extends 20 ft, but you can see it opens to the left at the end.
These narrow passages will have PCs moving in file. If you choose to explore this path, it would be assumed that the person acting is at the front unless otherwise noted. Please indicate how closely you will follow if other than 5ft.
(The posted map shows that the path continues left about 50ft then turns left again, goes for maybe 70 and then turns right for at least a few dozen feet to the edge of the map... but, PCs wouldn't know this.)
anyone can act at this point in time. I know this initiative thing is weird, but its partly to let everyone get a chance to chime in before we steamroll through things.
I'm giving this until morning, anybody please post, or i'll just assume you all walk down the hall in initiative order front to back.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Leann leads the group of adventurers theough the halls, turning left and left again. This long corridor contains four alcoves, each of which holds a 1:1 scale statue of a medium-sized humanoid. Though posed uniquely, they all appear to be standing guard, sword in hand.
The hallway continues beyond the statues for. Another 20 feet before it turns right.
As Leann passes, each of the statues attempts to stab her in the back. Those just behind LeAnn can see this happen ... they can just try to follow her or do something else.
PCs do have to get past this now obvious trap somehow or turn back and go the other way. I will not just force march everyone through it. Leann took point, walked past some statues, they attacked, one (shockingly) hit for less than catastrophic damage. PCs behind her wouldn't just keep walking. Anybody wants to try anything, go for it. Leann is just south of the statues, everyone else is just north of them.

There is a door on the east side of the room that is filed with new igneous rock. It is not locked.

Leann touches the door past the cooled lava, feeling if it is warm or not prior to opening it. If not hot she will do so.
The door opens onto a room 30ft long and ten wide. At the far end, a door is recessed slighy behind the wall. It is unlocked.
Anybody doing anything here? (I'm assuming you're all together)

Anybody planning to check for traps or anything: This would require a perception check.
I will give everyone some time

Omiy will look around for traps or secret doors.
Perception (with Leann's help): 20

Ooc: the perception check was also a DC18, fyi

Leann will again help with the investigation.

Sam is "it", but anyone can make perceptible checks or anything else.

Leann would take the lead, checking out this new passage.
