Sam destroys another skeleton with a bolt of flames.
<There's only one left and it's hurt, so I'm just going to expedite things.>
Ana smashes the last skeleton.
<I've thought about it and ... initiative continues, because Gravity is still making saves on count zero. Also because we've discussed what happens when she stops making saves.>
The oak chest remains s locked. Nothing but the party members is moving in the room at the moment
Since the bones seem to have stopped moving finally, Ana lowered her weapon and looked around. "Where's Gravity...?" She tried to think back to the last time she saw her. Did she take the wrong turn at Albuquerque? She was worried that Gravity might have gotten in trouble - or worse found some great treasure and was ditching them all to keep it for herself. "What say we go find her?"
<If you've seen it over in the ooc thread, I shared an alchemy guide that would exist in effect in the game world and which can be found by the PCs (though they have not yet). This guide includes the use of harvested vital essences. If one were so inclined, the remains of the skeleton crew could be swept up and distilled into essence of azoth/decay. If crafting and alchemy aren't yiur thing, you can just ignore all if this, it's just extra.>
Anyone may act at this time, basically there's just that oak chest and the metal plates left in the room.
“Let’s leave the chest and go try to find her” tetrevess says. He sends his manifest mind down the hall ahead of the group, towards the chanting, and studies the scene..
Ana nods and takes off running, backtracking to the place where they split up. Along the way she took a few seconds to touch the rod her Queen gave her and received Her power to replace some of what she used up. As she got closer to the chanting, she slowed down and took care to be as stealthy as she could.
((Action to use her rod of pact keeper to regain one of her slots. Stealth check with advantage due to boots of elvenkind: 10. Her plan is to get close enough to shoot the guy while hidden))
Gravity creeps closer to the altar of the ritual chamber in order to inspect the weapons placed on its surface when she remembers the projected telepathic words from the Balor:
" Stop ceremony. Weapons in altar."
She will attempt to recall any kind of information regarding the property of the Longsword and the Whip while gauging the distance between the altar and her current position so that she can cast Catapult on one of the weapons if necessary.
"Uh...critically damaging the priest might turn out to be an ugly and hare-headed choice...and bloody too."

edit: figures I'd roll poorly when needed most
Go ahead and make the saving throw for DC 15 Wis against the chant.

<sorry for the delay guys, busy weekend.>
Is it a charm effect? I'd have advantage vs those. Wis save 18 without advantage

Tetrevess says”maybe she followed the sounds of the chanting? Shall we bring the chests with us? I can unlock this with a spell..”.

Dragging a heavy chest around will slow you considerably. I'd suggest leaving it or opening it as opposed to making me do math. ;]

You are trailing the rest of the party as you are encumbered
<I'm not using the full rules for weight etc. It's just a big heavy chest. This is more hand-waving encumbrance not, 'no encumberance' >
Gravity correctly surmised that the weapons incorporated into the altar belong to the Balor.
