DEX save for Dorian (you had me confused because you first referenced the DEX save before the post with the hellish rebuke, so I was trying to figure out what exactly I'd missed): 20
Ctenmiir has been waiting outside the cave. Hearing the loud crashes and clangs of combat from within rise and draw to a sudden halt, he calls to you in the cave: "Anyone still alive in there?"
Dorian heaves a great sigh and sits down shakily. "We have questions to answer and many of us need a rest as well. I can set up the dome with a bit of time if we need protection. Are there any additional exits or entrances to the tunnel? If it's just the one I can place the dome such that it blocks the tunnel."He waves a hand. "Otherwise I"ll just do it right here, if you don't mind."
Huarache is going to 1st-level Cure Wounds himself (10 HP), then have Echo Help by holding his gun perfectly still in her mouth while he clears the jam in his firearm (DC=8+Misfire score, which is 2 for a total of ten) using his Tinker's Tools, which I will treat as an INT check (if you say it would be DEX, then subtract two).
Check to clear the firearm: 28 (and if we advanced to level six (I doubt it, but hey), then it's plus 11 because I would get tool expertise).
After fixing his gun and himself, he will look at the others. "Does anyone else need some healing? I don't have too much left in me, but I think I'll have enough to help whoever's in the worst shape."

EDIT: His gun is fixed.
Actually, I left my notes at work, but you're probably about 1 encounter away from level 6

Ctenmiir enters the cave and roars "Egghh! What happened to this place?" He pauses a moment, taking it in.
"This place uses to be a Dwarven forge, you know? Well, not this chamber, this was just the scoriæ pit, but further on, there was a forge. I knew the dwarves were driven from this place, they live ruggedly on the surface these days." Looking at the shrine to Imix, he muses, "with fire creatures like this lurking in here, makes me wonder if the forge isn't still in working order."
"You know, I made a map of this place for Anaxi? I've got a copy of it here with me." A discreet panel opens on the side of the coffin, revealing a drawer filled with 14 scrolls. "It was known as Heakhamar. Now, with that band if firenewts cleared out, we might as well head through it. Surely 'tis safer than the Valley of Dread on the surface. And maybe we'll find something if value the newts missed."
Eyeing the shrine from within the coffin he notes, "it looks like they may have gotten most of the shinier bits for themselves."
Ooc: you guys might want to poke around a bit. Huarache, is there something you wanted to ask the warlock rather than just killing him and taking his flame tongue scimitar?
Looking around the room, you note that many of the remains have been charred and gnawed. Several are clearly humanoid. You also find a pair of winged boots very much like the ones Vernell wore.
Behind the shrine of Imix, a five-foot-tall statue made of iron, c opper, gold, and silver, crudely hammered together into a form suggesting something vaguely humanoid but also fiery, you find a small trove of loot the newts have offered to Imixb:
The warlock, bound at the wrists and ankles stirs and begins mumbling then shouting in bursts, gibberish that even one fluent in Primordial and Draconic could not glean any meaning from.
(Dorian might be interested in some healing, depending on if we officially take a short rest -- which we might have if it's been long enough that the warlock is waking up -- and how hit dice rolling goes.)
Dorian will also look over the maps. "I'd definitely be interested to see what's down here -- keeping competitive with dwarven mining operations can be difficult, to see what they've been doing here, even if it's a little outdated, could be very useful."(Has Dorian heard of this mine before, given his background?)
At Huarache's question, he responds "I could take some time to cast Comprehend Languages as a ritual, if you think it will help."
(Dorian's attunement slots are full, but he's very intrigued by the Gem and how it works, and if Huarache attuned to it Dorian would probably bother him with lots of questions about what it's like.)
If you mean as opposed to killing, then yes. I want him unconscious but not dead.

Leann strikes at the warlock, if he is still up. She will try for non-lethal as well.

Sorry I've been busy today. Looks like Dorian made the save, therefore.. the warlock is dead.
With his last breath, the firenewt utters his patton's name. "Imix" as he collapsed into the shallow pool of hot water.

Edit: forgot the nonlethal damage from Huarache, even though everyone else went on to fill him with holes and blow him up...
He's underwater and unconscious, but he can still breath just fine. Still end if combat

I mean, they kidnapped Vernell, didn't they? I want to ask what they've done with him.
And yes, I did want the Flame Tongue Scimitar, thanks.

Also, Huarache will tie up the warlock with his rope, then take some of the proffered map scrolls and start examining them until the warlock wakes up.

You're in the cave at the far East. Room 7. The route to the surface, near the Barrier Peaks, less to the South

Behind the shrine of Imix, a five-foot-tall statue made of iron, c opper, gold, and silver, crudely hammered together into a form suggesting something vaguely humanoid but also fiery, you find a small trove of loot the newts have offered to Imixb:
Potion of greater healing
Silver necklace with gemstone pendant (250gp)
Carved bone statuette (25gp)
Small gold bracelet (25gp) x 2
Gem of seeing
Gold ring set with bloodstones (250gp) x 2
The warlock, bound at the wrists and ankles stirs and begins mumbling then shouting in bursts, gibberish that even one fluent in Primordial and Draconic could not glean any meaning from.
Leann, slamming her well-used longsword back into its sheath, would glance around the area. She would help search for anything of interest.
Perception: 19
"Dorian, do you have any translation magic prepared?" asks Huarache, who is fiddling with the Gem of Seeing.
OOC: Does anyone want that gem? Huarache would very much like it, but he's willing to let someone else carry a cool magic gem.
