The boggle stands at the doorway and opens a dimensional rift in the space. Through the doorway, Etrigan sees uncut rubies and other gems piled and sorted according to size—two hundred tiny stones, one hundred small stones, twenty medium stones, and five large stones. A small cask holds and 5 coffers scattered about the room.
<Yeah. It's actually a pretty reasonable thing g to happen. The corridor wraps around in a labrythine fashion but rhe treasury is actually only 30ft away. This would save Thesselar a trip.> It's a real utilitarian room. The whole contents are easily seen. There are those coffers and casks though.
You would recognize these gems as similar to the ones the guards had and the eyes if the statue.
<The boggle will literally hand Thesselar anything he asks for from the room. Honestly, I feel like adapting this mechanic, so Etrigan can just go get it himself. so - that works now, cool?>
"Please let me know if you require anything further. I'll just be a moment. I think I left the iron on."
The boggle heads back through the curtain to return to the lizardman and the bound human. "Sorry for the delay, let's get this sacrifice to the high priest, then." the boggle gestures toward the door.
Etrigan/Thessalar quickly dumps all the contents of the secret room into his portable hole to investigate at a more convenient time and location. He then joins the others. "Yes, lets go." Etrigan/Thessalar says to Slippy, ready to pay a visit to the high priest, although with quite another sacrifice in mind. "Be ready, my mission is still to take care of this high priest of Moloch. Help me with that and you can share all valuables I got from that secret room between you." Etrigan/Thessalar messages the others as they are about to see "Arse-Agard".
(OOC: So there where no visible buttons in the secret room then? Is The Demogorgon coming with us or not? Will there be a new map?)
<Sticky can take you there directly, or you can stop by the Demogorgon who is waiting for Thesellar to return. Sticky is not expecting Thesellar to join him and the guards leading the sacrifice to the priest, but he would not object. Slippy has left. This is hard to communicate in pbp, but there is 1 boggle pretending to be 2 boggles by switching the epaulet from one shoulder to the other. Sitcom style. You're in his quarters now.>
"The Demogorgon will come with us. Then we will all see the high priest about his sacrifice." Etrigan/Thessalar says to Sticky/Slippy.
(OOC: It will be a bit risky but I think all should come. Please object if you think otherwise. If not we will collect the Demogorgon, who is already briefed on the plans to take down the temple, and then let Sticky/Slippy take us to the high priest, which should take us via 24 and 27 I guess.)
The crew proceed back to the ettin’s room. You tell the ettin you're ready to go and overthrow the high priest of Moloch... with a homonculus on your head that resembles Moloch, and bring with you a human sacrifice... to Moloch.
"Alright... the ettin says with a groan as he pulls himself from his great seat. "Let's go."
"Sticky!" calls the Demogorogon. Come clean up this mess!" He waves a hand to the pile of bones at his feet.
There's no answer...
"Sticky!" He calls again, louder, into the hallway. Again, there is no answer. Growing impatient, but unwilling to speak directly to the other head on his shoulders, Sticky's master (Emmanuel) orders : "Slippy! You go get Sticky!"
The other head (Hebediah) snarls: "Slippy. You listen to me. Emmanuel has his own steward. I tell you what to do, not him."
Emmanuel growls and announces "I talk to whoever I want. You have steward I have steward. Everything OK. Now we have one steward. Not OK! He shouts."
The two heads begin to quarrel in words unintelligible to any but they themselves. You could try to read their thoughts, but there is lute need... they squabble as toddlers with similar cause.
OOC: The fact that a creature has the name Emmanuel in the Forgotten Realms implies the existence of the Abrahamic god in said Realms, which makes D&D a lot more interesting to say the least.
Huarache looks to the others and tries to convey the concept, “Are we jumping them or waiting for them to leave?”
Etrigan/Thessalar shakes his head slowly as Emmanuel and Hebediah squabbles, the Moloch homunculus helping his face to a disappointed visage. "On second thoughts, our new ally seems unreliable at best. But I don´t think it´s safe to just leave them here knowing our plans. I will try to disarm them. Be prepared to take them down swiftly everyone. If I manage to remove the pouch I suspect they will just be a normal ettin."Etrigan/Thessalar messages the others.
"Hold still." Etrigan/Thessalar commands the Demogorgon. "I will adjust your equipment to improve its performance. It will be quick." Unless the Demogorgon resists Etrigan/Thessalar removes the pouch, or at least disconnects the silver wires.
(OOC: If you have been itching for a fight I think this may be it. About the Abrahamic god in the Realms. We are in fact in ancient Greyhawk for the moment and I think it´s more likely that the names Emmanuel and Hebediah are some variants of the names of the heads of the real Demogorgon which is Aameul and Hethrediah. I doubt that the name of the high priest is actually Arse-Agard [lol] but this Demogorgon saying it suggests he perhaps have trouble pronouncing names or something like that. ;-)
“I’m ready to fight, if we have to, but if we can get it/them to behave I’d rather use them against others than deal with them ourselves..”. Tetrevess thinks to the group. He readies an action to fire bolt the ettin.
out loud he grunts, in common this time “get sacrifice to priest?”
"I agree Tetrevess that using the Demogorgon is certainly still tempting, but I have a strong feeling they will just be a hindrance, if we can get them with us at all, that is." Etrigan/Thessalar messages the others.
<Etrigan gets an inspiration die for role-playing because I just found out about the DC comics character of that name and the rhyming warlock finally makes sense> :)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
<Finally have a minute to post>
Examining the pouches around his necks reveals a collection of eyeballs and still-beating dragon hearts. The silver wires connect those living tissues to the ettin’s own hearts.
Anyone attempting to disrupt the wires must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or take 13 force damage. The wires are self-repairing, and cannot be severed or destroyed.
"Yes I do, now open it quickly, We haven´t much time." Etrigan/Thessalar says clearly impatient.
(OOC: Cute little fellows the boggles. Etrigan should try to bring one as a servant.)

Etrigan/Thessalar scans the room for buttons and/or control panels with help from Grygaxx:19

I think I can just share the while map ar this point. The PCs even have a guide.
The priest is at 28. You're at 36.
