Each of you take a watch and remain blessedly undisturbed. You all wake refreshed and ready for your journey back to Duragath. Is there anything you would like to do before leaving this place?
Hitticus you crouch next to the black egg and tentatively place your hand upon it. At first nothing happens and you are almost ready to take your hand away, but then with a jolt of recognition the being within the egg latches on to your mind.
"Dragon brother... fire touched..." you feel something within you reach out toward the unborn dragon, you see flashes of memory; of a great black dragon soaring high above the burning ocean... of a clutch of eggs, raided and befouled by goblins... then darkness and fear as the goblins bring the egg to this place and cast foul magics upon it to tame the hatchling...magics now broken by the arrival of heroes that now surround you. You feel gratitude and hope...
"Hitticus what are you doing?" you look up to see Uldrans coal black eye staring into your own, his brow creased in concern.
Hitticus looks up an Uldran. "Couldn't help it, last dragon is still in my head and I was itching to see. Having a change of heart though, the thing's afraid for its life and was stolen from its clutch."
Hitticus clenches his burned fist "I know how that can be, we'll get you home Egg, I just hope it means something"

Quiller dreams of a strange conversation between beings who have no form, speaking soundlessly and with great gravity; but he has no understanding of what they’re saying.
Since there were no suggestions for the cloak, Alanis would have kept it for now and attuned to it during her watch. (Still willing to hand it over)
The dragon egg she would have watched curiously, but since she can’t understand it’s occupant, she would have refrained from touching it.
In the morning she will prepare her concoctions as per usual but with a few new ideas in mind. Feeling like she is somewhat ‚overcharged‘ with magic, and that this is interfering with her preparations, she tries to channel the excess energy into a flask with simple water, only to find that this has led to some curious results.
Alanis is sniffing at the newly infused flask with a look of wonder, realising what just happened to its contents.
A bit taken aback by not only being addressed, but also just being given a nickname, she looks up at Hitticus.
„It would have been a waste not to put it to use, but I am probably not the best choice to have it. Maybe Randrak, since he is always in the thick of things. Though you seem to have joined that fray as well since… you returned. How are you? I mean both of you?“
Suddenly there is a loud roar, it only takes a moment before anyone realises it is only a snore, from Randrak. A second later Randrak wakes up with a start, "I'm up, I'm up. What's going on?"

"Every day is a constant battle sorting out who's this are whose and whether the madness has taken me again. Hard to tell when every day has something like that" he juts a thumb in the direction of the egg "but otherwise I feel fine. More in concert with the stone than before, must be Ama's deep connection to its power. I wouldn't mind the cloak, but I also just got a new sword and don't want to hog all the interesting bits"
„I can’t even begin to imagine how that is. I’m glad you’ve come back from that, even with the struggles you are facing now. So thank you, Ama, for protecting him.“
At Hitticus‘ mention of his newly acquired sword, she perks up.
“Right! Did you find out what the sword does? Or is it ‚just‘ enhanced? If you didn’t and we still have some time, I can make sure now. If you want me to, that is.“
She holds up a vial that seems to contain a silvery powder.
“And… since Mewcri is now well equipped with a fine crossbow, I should be able to boost something other than mine. As recent experience has shown me, when in doubt, I seem to throw vials around rather than pointing a crossbow. With Randrak not being happy with magic, would you like two extra sharp swords instead of one? Or maybe your armor thoughened up a bit?“
Alanis offers with a mischievous smile.
Wether Hitticus does or does not take her up on any of her offers, when all is said and done she‘ll approach Randrak cloak in hand.
“Good morning, Randrak. Nothing much going on for a change, fortunately. I have been thinking, I have attuned to this cloak, but honestly, you tend to be much more in harms way than I am. Would you like it instead? You‘d just have to spend some time connecting with its enchantment.“
"I can take a watch. First, last, mid, doesn't matter to me."
You all take a long rest.
Reggarn, Alanis and Hitticus roll for perception with advantage.
