As Marmaduke, a gold dwarf bearing blue draconic features, takes her usual place in the skies above the arena, a full body mannequin-styled construct magically teleports to her side. The two appear to somehow exchange tense words with one another before the construct bows and vanishes without a trace. Slightly flustered, Marmaduke eventually announces in a booming voice to a curious onlookers.
"Sorry 'bout that Ladies, Gentlemen, and All things in-between or beyond! But welcome to the Coliseum!!" The crowd roar and cheers for a moment. "For today's spectacle will be a special experience. As you all will have the pleasure of having bear witness to not one but TWO matches at once? How can this be you may ask? Well! Don't I get a trick for you all!"
With that, she snaps her fingers and warps reality, so that in some mirror plane 4 lucky participants are transported there for their match. And a side-by-side view in the various mass magical view sensors would appear for the audience to watch. For the competitors however, the translucent images of the 4 flicker in an out of view in the arena, occasionally showcasing their actions as their match progresses. Before most can really get into that, Maramaduke carries on!
"With the power of a god and blessings of the air on his side, say hello to our avian avatar of war, Apium the Almighty!!" A black-feathered Aarakocra held aloft 5ft above the ground and with energy crackling from his talons in anticipation.
"Next we have from the distant seas seeking gold, renown, and new challenges is none other than Darius the Dreaded!" A dark-haired human man wielding a pair of rapier and bearing the firm footing of a seaman readies for battle.
"And last up carrying on the growing tradition of combine blade and elven song in the arena. Or in this case, a WHIP! Is none other than Fenka!" A half-wood elf man with a whip in one hand, an owl above, and some pep in his step along two other illusory brothers.
"Knowing the might of dragon's and perhaps seeking to improve upon that design, one Dragonborn has come ready to test his theories! Give it up for Merron!!" A hulking blue-scaled figure clad in an assortment of different metals gives some signal to the mechanized drake at his side to rise and ready itself.
"Some may make use of the darkness, but this one might just have been born from it! A round of cheers for Nova the Night Terror!" Another man bearing a shield and his imp companion can be glimpsed brief before Darkness and other magics conceal them both.
"As quiet as a mouse, and bearing skills fine tuned to a razor's edge is one Half-Drow with a swagger. Welcome, Sennin the Sinister!" A light grey half elf saunters into the arena, his white hair tied in a high knot, whistling a tune as he spins his short swords in his hands
"With that! Let this highnoon match...BEGIN!!!

The half-drow deftly jogs out of the gate, and ducks behind the farthest wall he can get to ((move to O7 )). once there he crouches low, stabs one of his short swords into the dirt, and pulls a thin black wand from within his boot ((holding an action to use my wand of magic missiles for when I see some one))
Deciding to waste no time, Darius magically rose up into the air, just above the outer wall, then moved forward a bit to land before running off to cover.
MOVE: Up 8 feet, over the wall, back down, then to his hiding spot (@DM: see spoiler.) ACTION: Crouch to Hide at his location.
He will land at D-2, and try to leap over the short wall to B-2. Acrobatics Check:12. If successful, he'll be hidden at B-2. If not, then he'll remain prone at C-2, I believe.

Waving his arm in a large circle he commands Syldorn to distract the dark skinned half-elf and he himself runs out to the half-elf. Beating his familiar there, Fenkas makes a normal attack and lets the distraction work for the next attack. Syldorn is still 10 feet above the half-elf. Meanwhile, Fenkas runs back to the cluster of stones near the center to take a bit of cover.

Apium makes an avian war cry then flies up 10 feet, and flies to G11. He then shoots a magical projectile out of his talons, a guiding bolt, at Sennin.

Merron tries to emulate Darius, but finds he'll need to include some type of dampner to his armor in the future to find any real success. Nonetheless, Tin is bade to press forward before taking up automatic defensive protocols. Once it did, it looks around oddly before focusing southward again.
Fenkas practically explodes onto the field with the aid of magic and song, crossing the distance in record time. The former spares him from the readied deluge of Senin's own trick. But alas, his whip finds no purchase before needing to retreat.
Apium flies in trying to take advantage of the distraction made by the Owl, but the half-drow proved to evasive.
Following that last beam of divine power, gears can be heard churning behind the walls of the arena. Only two more rounds remain before the hazard is released...

A sickening laughter radiates from the space Nova occupies. He observes the glowing bolt descend from the avian cleric, acknowledging he is the easiest target to hit. He draws from a well of power inside him, propelling two blasts of Eldritch gunk towards Apium, attempting to fully take him out of the air.
The imp, noting the multiple images of Fenkas, will approach and reveal itself, flying through the mirror images in an attempt to Help someone in taking down the wizard.
Sennin clicks his tongue watching his magic missiles bounce off the shielding energy of the wizard's spell, and turns his attention to the flying cleric, releasing another blast from his wand (( magic missile level 1, doing 11 force damage unless blocked)), before relocating to the cover of the boulders ((move to K6))

Darius peeked out from his hiding spot, and seeing the airborne assaults, moved out into the open. "Try that on me, ya bastards!" he sneered before spotting Fenkas. Cranking it up to a full dash, he closed in with the half-elf, running around Apium, and again seemed to generate a surge of speed as he lashed out with his blades, swinging them with precision before settling back into a defensive stance with a smirk.
MOVE: From B-2 to F-8 (30ft.) ACTION: Dash to G-9 -> H-9 -> I-10 -> I-11, adding 5ft. of movement to jump the low wall (25ft. total) -- ACTION SURGE! -- ACTION: Rapier attack toward Fenkas - Attack: 24, Damage: 11 BONUS: Second rapier attack toward Fenkas - Attack: 15, Damage: 6 REACTION: (for DM) -
The first person to (1) close into melee with Darius, (2) give Darius an Opportunity Attack by leaving melee, or (3) attack Darius at melee and miss, he'll swing to attack. Situations 1 & 3 use Manuevers to do so and will have the added die:
Nova calls upon some inner power to blast Apium out of the sky. But though the damage is done is significant, the bird remained aloft, if barely so. Nonplussed, Nova than has the imp reveal itself in the north, ready to distract Fenka.
Sennin meanwhile finishes the job on Apium, dropping him from the skies but fortunately atop the boulder below, before then retreating a ways back himself.
Darius comes racing from his own cover like a bat out of hell, and in surge of adrenaline, lays into Fenkas as his clone with dual rapier action!

The first rapier strikes one of Fenkas's clones and Fenkas's grin slips into a frown as his harmony is now imperfect. The second rapier is aiming straight for Fenkas, but he manages to duck the blade as the harmony resumes and the attack misses. (2 Clones Left)

Apium thanks Fenkas then rises into the air. His focuses on Sennin."You are the one who dealt the finishing blow, correct?" He then flies towards Sennin, his hands outstretched. "Vengeance will be mine." dark energy accumulates on his claws, and he grabs Sennin.
inflict wounds (2nd level with advantage.): Attack: 22 Damage: 16
Free action if Sennin goes unconscious: Picking up the wand of magic missiles from Sennin's unconscious body. (Apium will give it back after the battle.)
Apium uses guided strike to make sure it hits.

Fenkas decides to put duels on hold to feed the fallen their own potion, losing a clone in the process. Soon after, he's racing to opposition's side of the field. Syldrom, however, is given orders to pursue and continue harassing the half-drow before ascending once more.
Apium takes flight once more, and by the blessing of his god and a bit of Owl support, but the half-drow went down in a heap. To the spoils went to the conscious, even if temporarily so.
Merron is perhaps a bit clumsy climbing over the wall. But with no other choice in order to get to Darius then and there, he did so and even manage cut the duelist. Tin the draco mech doesn't manage so much after, but is close at hand to support its creator.
After all that happens, ports in the walls of both staging areas open up and begin emitting a faint hissing noise. One round remains before the hazard enters the field...

Merron tries to emulate Darius, but finds he'll need to include some type of dampner to his armor in the future to find any real success. Nonetheless, Tin is bade to press forward before taking up automatic defensive protocols. Once it did, it looks around oddly before focusing southward again.
Fenkas practically explodes onto the field with the aid of magic and song, crossing the distance in record time. The former spares him from the readied deluge of Senin's own trick. But alas, his whip finds no purchase before needing to retreat.
Apium flies in trying to take advantage of the distraction made by the Owl, but the half-drow proved to evasive.
Following that last beam of divine power, gears can be heard churning behind the walls of the arena. Only two more rounds remain before the hazard is released...

A sickening laughter radiates from the space Nova occupies. He observes the glowing bolt descend from the avian cleric, acknowledging he is the easiest target to hit. He draws from a well of power inside him, propelling two blasts of Eldritch gunk towards Apium, attempting to fully take him out of the air.

Movement: Nova stays put.
The imp, noting the multiple images of Fenkas, will approach and reveal itself, flying through the mirror images in an attempt to Help someone in taking down the wizard.
Sennin clicks his tongue watching his magic missiles bounce off the shielding energy of the wizard's spell, and turns his attention to the flying cleric, releasing another blast from his wand (( magic missile level 1, doing 11 force damage unless blocked)), before relocating to the cover of the boulders ((move to K6))

Darius peeked out from his hiding spot, and seeing the airborne assaults, moved out into the open. "Try that on me, ya bastards!" he sneered before spotting Fenkas. Cranking it up to a full dash, he closed in with the half-elf, running around Apium, and again seemed to generate a surge of speed as he lashed out with his blades, swinging them with precision before settling back into a defensive stance with a smirk.

Nova calls upon some inner power to blast Apium out of the sky. But though the damage is done is significant, the bird remained aloft, if barely so. Nonplussed, Nova than has the imp reveal itself in the north, ready to distract Fenka.
Sennin meanwhile finishes the job on Apium, dropping him from the skies but fortunately atop the boulder below, before then retreating a ways back himself.
Darius comes racing from his own cover like a bat out of hell, and in surge of adrenaline, lays into Fenkas as his clone with dual rapier action!

The first rapier strikes one of Fenkas's clones and Fenkas's grin slips into a frown as his harmony is now imperfect. The second rapier is aiming straight for Fenkas, but he manages to duck the blade as the harmony resumes and the attack misses.

Apium thanks Fenkas then rises into the air. His focuses on Sennin."You are the one who dealt the finishing blow, correct?" He then flies towards Sennin, his hands outstretched. "Vengeance will be mine." dark energy accumulates on his claws, and he grabs Sennin.

Free action if Sennin goes unconscious: Picking up the wand of magic missiles from Sennin's unconscious body. (Apium will give it back after the battle.)

Merron will run to Darius and attack him, then command Tin to do the same.

Tin will use Deflect Attack if anyone attacks Merron
Merron will use shield if an attack hits him. if not, he will make an opportunity attack if possible. 21 to hit, 6 slashing damage.
Fenkas decides to put duels on hold to feed the fallen their own potion, losing a clone in the process. Soon after, he's racing to opposition's side of the field. Syldrom, however, is given orders to pursue and continue harassing the half-drow before ascending once more.
Apium takes flight once more, and by the blessing of his god and a bit of Owl support, but the half-drow went down in a heap. To the spoils went to the conscious, even if temporarily so.
Merron is perhaps a bit clumsy climbing over the wall. But with no other choice in order to get to Darius then and there, he did so and even manage cut the duelist. Tin the draco mech doesn't manage so much after, but is close at hand to support its creator.
After all that happens, ports in the walls of both staging areas open up and begin emitting a faint hissing noise. One round remains before the hazard enters the field...
