Storm King's Thunder

“There’s nothing to worry about we have our buddy Zephyros here. I doubt he’s going to let anything happen to his cloud tower.”

"yeah, and I doubt a village would be attacked by giants, then goblins, then Zhentarim agents, then a horde of orcs in the span of two days"

The first night is indeed uneventful, as is most of the next morning. 

Around midday, you hear a loud *THUD,* and then a *CRASH* from up on the second level, and then silence.

"That's not good is it?"

“Hello. I’d everythinng fine up there?”

"He said don't go up there. Unless we hear more than a thud, I say we stay."

“That was quite a loud thud. What if something happened to him? Ink, perhaps you can have Quill sneak up there to see if anything happened?”

"It might be a test, maybe fire an arrow with a note up there?"

"He gave us one rule, don't go upstairs. We hear a noise and first thing we do is shoot an arrow up there?"

Ink eventually clambers up onto the table and relays what he sees through Quill's eyes—Zephyros is lying on the ground, quietly shaking! His lips are moving, but no sound is coming from them.

"Aw crap.I'll go check it out." Marav sighs then stealths.

Stealth: 13

Gonna try and stand on something and get a peek up through the hole... you said it was 10 feet in the air?

Perception: 5

"Well that's not good, maybe he is just talking to his boss?"

“Wait. Rip says he recognizes the side effects of contacting beings on another plane so, our giant has obviously attempted to contact other beings in the past? Is this what normally happens when someone attempts to do that?” Angel asks Rip.
