Marav shakes his shaggy head back and forth... nope... not gonna happen.

Seeing Rip begin to fall Angel is going to rush towards him and hold his arms out, attempting to catch him before he hits the ground. 

//I’ll use Ki points to move faster in order to get to where Rip will land//

Ink lunges for Rip, and manages to grab hold just before he hits Flint. But since the halfling is upside-down he catches his trouser leg, and Rip is "pantsed" about 10 feet from the ground.

Thankfully he is saved from breaking his neck or from damaging Flint.

Seeing Rip dangling in the air his pants around his ankles Angel suddenly stops and turns 180 degrees around; a blush on his face.

”Oh, my” Angel says with a voice that doesn’t sound like his but strangely like someone you think is named George Takei. 

"It most certainly did, Rip... And I expect to see it in your next installment of your graphic novel... But for now, how about I flip you around you put on your pants and we fly after those buggers! Or I fly and you all run?" 

The crowds of people that had dispersed into nearby houses and shops now exit and begin clapping their hands at your bravery!

"Well, we got 'is attention ah think.  We goin' ta see 'im now or comin' back in th' mornin'?"

“Well. We have one of his gargoyles here. I say we send him back with a letter to meet him in the morning. We’re exhausted and in no place to oppose him if things turn. Plus I don’t think his minions will cause any more harm tonight.” 

tying his belt Rip says rather unhappily "I've got one spell left in me and we are all still hurt, I say we rest first. Never fight a Wizard on an empty stomach or with an empty mind, my Nan used to say! sadly we can't help Angel with that last part"

“Surprisingly wise words from a man who can’t keep his pants on.” Angel says with lighthearted laugh. 

"I'd rather go now personally. With the 12 perhaps - for an official presence. I don't want to risk those damn gargoyles coming back." Taking a beat and smiling, "Also, I'm flying.... I don't want to waste that."

Ink seems enthralled by flight and tells the others, "Guys, I'm going to follow those gargoyles, I'll let you all decide what to do with the git in Marav's paws."

Ink zooms off into the sky after the gargoyles, Quill flying beside.
