It’s quite dark in the interior—where you’re standing now is dim light (thanks to the light coming from the open door in the foyer), and further in it becomes total darkness.
About 40 and 60 feet down the hall there are two doorways on the left.
As Ink sees Flint moving to take point ahead of him and Marav, Ink puts a hand on Flint's shoulder and whispers, "Perhaps we should let the quieter ones go first? How about I back up some and both you and I take up the rear guard? Marav can take point with Angel and Rip just behind him."

As Marav and Rip extend their lead on the rest of the group, Ink will produce a torch, lighting it up and snuffing it out so that the the burning embers provide some dim light - it'll be bright light to Ink's eyes, albeit temporary, but long enough time so that he can check the dust on the floor for footprints. He's expecting to see a dire wolf and a dwarf's move ahead of him, so his concern would be other humanoid or non-humanoid foot prints."
Marav comes across the first of the deep-set doors. It is closed, and from the smell leading to the door, he can tell that some undead things have passed through here in the last several hours.
Ink looks down at the dimly lit hallway (Perception 12 ) and tries to make sense of what he sees (Survival 8 )....
Ink cannot make sense of the swirls and prints in the dust of the floor. He remembers that at least one of the wights could fly, and another seemed to have a highly specialized teleporting ability.

There are bricked-over windows. You can see the evidence of mortar and bricks in the stonework, in the shape of tall windows.
