The spectral battleaxe again swings towards Ink: Attack: 4 Damage: 4

The Eye of Gruumsh and the chieftan take cover behind the large tree, and do their best to dodge incoming fire while the war chief barks orders at his troops: <Find the breach, you dogs!> and other very colorful phrases.  

The guards and Beedo, unable to draw a bead on the shaman, aim close to home at the other orcs:
Attack: 10 Damage: 7
Attack: 6 Damage: 5
Attack: 15 Damage: 2
Attack: 16 Damage: 3

 In the south, Solace and Torem the guard loose more arrows at the oncoming orc war party:

Attack: 12 Damage: 2
Attack: 17 Damage: 8

Torem's finds one of the orcs in the leg, and the warrior rips the bolt out. He is bleeding badly.

You hurl a mote of fire at a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 fire damage. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried.

Ink, seeing the chief and shaman take cover behind a tree, takes aim at the tree with his hand an unleashes a Fire Bolt (Attack: 18 Damage: 3), muttering to himself, "Hiding behind a tree won't help you when it's on fire..."

Then, looking at the spectral axe still looming, concentrates and finds his fortitude //uses as a bonus action [Tooltip Not Found] healing 3 hit points. //

The fire bolt hits the tree it its lower boughs and burns through them, leaving a crackling, smoldering hole, building to a flame.

"sure run and hide you cowardly female!" 3 at the chieftain, Rip then turns to Marav "that's insulting to orcs right?" also ducking down again

Orc Chief wisdom save: 11

Marav just kinda face palms... "Technically it was an insult, but he was probably more confused." He turns back toward the orcs... "Are you are sure you just want us to kill you and all your men?" Marav calls out in orcish toward the chief.

Intimidation: 4

The main two groups of orcs continue their southwards trajectory, trying to get out of the line of fire, while the smaller squad of orcs to the north also tries to get around the bend as fast as possible.

The orc war chief and Eye of Gruumsh continue to bide their time, with the shaman still sending the spiritual battle-axe spinning in arcs over the heads of those in the watchtowers. This time the axe swings at Kaelen, next to Ink. Attack: 13 Damage: 9
