“Yes...I suppose you’re right,” concedes Zymorven. “There are bigger things happening in the world. If you find my son, please tell him that I would...very much like to see him again. If he feels the same way, that is.” He clears his throat after this, and takes a drink of wine and a bite of bread.
To the general request for a writ, he says, "Oh, yes, I suppose I could do that. Although really it would be up to the local magistrate to handle such matters, and I fear my word would be a good as the next—but here," he says, handing you a piece of parchment with instructions scrawled on it and stamped with his signet. "My name is well known in Silverymoon, but who knows how well you'll fare elsewhere."
Crownsguard gives a robotic thumbs up, “Affirmative, we strive to enrich the lives of those around us. If we see your son, we will strive to ensure his safety and report to him your words.”

"And if he is still with the young... 'lady'?" Don asks. "She might be a thief but she is now his wife..." he hesitates, "and now your daughter."
He steps forward slowly, "You don't have to like her sir, but if you want a relationship with your son then you will need to find it in your heart to accept her. Though hiding the good silver when they visit might not be a bad idea."
Zymorven lets out a rich belly laugh. “You all make excellent points. I didn’t really think about it like that...just got caught up in the emotion of it all, you know. Thank you for setting my head straight. Yes, his wife can come. And eh...I suppose I shall have to find out what her name was; I’ve completely forgotten.”
"I am glad that you have found your laughter - it is infectious," Ink replies with his own chuckle. He then says, "Perhaps in more peaceful times I can get a tour of your estate. I'm a bit of an arcane practitioner myself and I'm always seeking to learn something new. I hope to add to the Vault of Sages and perhaps even run it as its Keeper. Although I tend to follow Mystra, perhaps it would serve me well to hear a few sermons by the acolytes of Deneir and Oghma."

Don starts talking with the commander from Silverymoon, making small talk. At some point during the talk he will say:
"I heard a family named Margaster. The only problem I have is that the person who gave it to me... well they can be a good source of information at times and at other times. Well they get me into more trouble than it is worth. They said if I was in the area to look them up as they are good people and might be a good source of work. Honestly, Uncle Jorah could have made up the name for all I know. Have you heard of them or was he full of... well you know, for all I know he could be trying to get me arrested." Don smiles disarmingly.
Persuasion: 28 // Trying to persuade information out of him. // Performance: 8 // Not sure what skill check you will need. //
(Skill Clarification: If you are using some form of art—storytelling, song, dance, etc—with the intent to entertain, you would use Performance. If you're using your charm/wits and trying to get something from someone, it'd be Persuasion. If you're lying to do the same, it'd be Deception!)
"Margaster...yes, I know the name. Rich family, keeps to themselves mostly. Odd bunch. Although I'm one to talk!" chuckles Zymorven, obviously in a good mood from the wine and from your disarming words. "I refuse to gossip, though. No good ever came of it."
With that, Lord Zymorven rises and addresses the group. "Now, I believe you all have things to attend to, as do I! I must take my leave now and see to my affairs, but ask that you enjoy our hospitality as long as you like."
The soldier trio have been talking quietly among themselves, and after some consideration, they approach Crownsguard as you are all on the way down from the keep.
“Excuse me, but you are the famous machine, the Crownsguard, aren’t you?” Says one of the humans. “You’re the construct chevall who stood against the army of skeletons. We’ve heard tales about you...rumors, I guess you’d call them. But I just wanted to suggest that you visit Hawk’s Nest if your travels allow. We would all be heartened by your presence...these days have been pretty dismal.”
If there is no further business to address, the soldiers all take to the road, riding east towards Silverymoon. Your ship and crew await your command.
Crownsguard stands a little taller with the guards, “Yes, hello, I am Crownsguard, your collaborative combative companion. Your recognition is greatly appreciated. I will make every effort to visit your town. Additionally,” He pulls out his little paintbrush and draws a little Crownsguard face on the men’s helmets, “I believe that this is an autograph. I am told that people give them when they are recognized.”

Later Flint approaches crownsguard "say, ah never asked ye if ye wanted that face ah made fer ye. Truth be told yer drawn on face 'ad grown on me. Ah won't be offended if ye prefer not ta wear it. "
Crownsguard tilts his head, “That is good. I am glad you will not be offended. However, I do like the face, I will continue wearing it. It makes me look, as organics state, ‘cool.’”

First sending response: Arene replies, <I know the guy, and the sword. Come find me at the usual place and I’ll point you in the right direction, Big Hero.>
Second sending response: The shaman’s reply sounds foreboding. <The blessing is not mine to give...nor would I give it if I could. ‘Tis a sacrilege. Travel there at your own risk.>
Ink relays the messages back - without the color commentary - and suggests, "Regarding the Grandfather Tree, I say we still go but take care to treat everything with the upmost respect, as in, when we arrive, we ask the tree permission before we start searching or digging around it."
So it is that the group of increasingly famous adventurers, two bird familiars, and eight dragon cultists flies their airship to the city of Yartar, now blanketed in snow, just four days after the winter solstice.
Unless otherwise directed, the crew will fly the ship to the riverside docks west of the walled citadel and touch down in the icy water.
Ink tells the group, "I'm heading to the Wink and Wisp to meet my contact. The lot of you can either come with me or head over to Rip's place (who was advised of the party's arrival the evening before via Ink's use of SENDING with his last third level spell slot). Your call."
Ink throws on a cloak to stem off the cold and heads into town and the Wink and Wisp.
