Seviari, Marav, and Ink work together to dispatch three of the rats; disebowling, skewerig, and beheading them in succession, fighting back-to-back before Rip and Beedo light the place up with a lantern. It dazzles your eyes for a moment, but in the lamplight you can now see three dead rats and two sleeping ones.
Rip's readied action goes off, and he directs the spell at Hark (wisdom save: 17).
