(OOC: It is Torrin and Sylzet's initiative. The Vrock is currently flying about 20 feet high, in square A6)
The Vrock screeches in pain, collecting itself before it will fly back down to attack these filthy mortals.
Zanver calls out a warning as the lava flowing between the squares begins to ripple and bubble, especially where it pools. There's a vaguely volcanic feel to it, as though it might explode soon.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Escaping your fate won't be that easy" Torrin Yells out, spreading his wings and flying up to meet the vrock ((using the boots, but with flava)). As he does he lets out another quick burst of draconic ((casting thunderous smite as a bonus action)). He flys around to the back of the Vrock and releases two swings: 28 to hit doing 10 damage, second attack: 24 to hit doing 8 damage. plus if one hits it does an additional 6 thunder damage and it his to make a dc 14 str check or be thrown 10 ft and knocked prone))
(I'll go ahead and wait for my turn to see if the Vrock goes prone, cause my turn changes depending on if it is prone or not)

Seeing as the Vrock is still in the air, she will blast him with a Guiding Bolt to help Torrin get at least another hit or two in.
To hit: 7 Damage: 19 Radiant

Sylzet's guiding bolt hits (adding 1 from Bless to her attack roll).
The demon screams again, though this time the scream seems to be bordering on panic. It turns in its flight and attacks Torrin, once with its talons and once with its bite. (Talon: 14; Bite: 20), It screams its impotent rage as it can't seem to connect on a single hit.
Zanver calls a command word and snaps his fingers, as another dolorous tone rings out around the demon. (Vrock Wisdom Save: 5; deals 9 necrotic damage). The beast lets out a final scream, as its eyes turn dark and a brackish, black blood spills from its mouth and aural holes, and its eyes as though its weeping blood. It falls, dead.
Torrin stays in place, lightly flapping his wings, "while I have to strength I might as well investigate up here, what's in the bag??" as he asks that he begins to lightly flap around the room, checking the ceiling for anything interesting, as well as seeing if there's anything interesting about the room with a bird's eye view ((I've got another 48 seconds on the boots, but I'm willing to burn another minute or two if I need to))
Sylzet grumbles quietly as she sinks her greatsword into the floor for the time being to hold it in place while still getting light, and opens the bag.

Nothing appears amiss or of significance from Torrin's vantage point.
As is the case with bags of holding that Sylzet is familiar with, the bag appears empty from within, but if she turns it inside out, all of its contents will spill to the floor.
Sylzet walks over to a safer spot, away from the lava, and turns it inside out just above the floor so everything can spill out safely.

Most notably, what appears to be a dark skinned female human. She is contained inside a clear crystal, so details are hard to make out. A wide band of bronze encircles the crystal with runes of eldritch power engraved thereon.
Also falling from the bag, is a spear that Torrin recognizes as made from the ivory thighbone of an ancient gold dragon combined with a platinum spearhead. It is carved with Draconic runes speaking of Justice and Order. There is a four foot tall staff made of a dark wood with a red crystal attached at the top by a gold band. There is a small figurine of a fly cut from ebony. And, finally, there is a wooden box, about 1 foot x 1 foot x 6 inches deep.
Torrin hovers back down, landing near the spear, a strange look in his eye. He grabs it, and looks it up and down, taking in the runes. He gives it a few practice thrusts, testing out it's weight and balance. He looks down to the crystal with the woman inside of it, "What do you make of this??" he says, holding the crystal up for the other two
The spear seems to move effortlessly, with perfect balance in Torrin's hand, feeling as though made for it. The weapon almost whispers to him that if he attunes to it, it will unlock power to him.
The halfling wizard joins the other two heroes. And examines the crystal and the bronze structure. "Hmm.... it appears to be some form of stasis chamber. Likely the result of a trap of some sort." He looks deeper at the bronze, "I think I can open it, if that is what you wish." He also glances at the other items that came from the bag. "I can also identify these if we want to rest here for a time. I believe this room is likely safe if the warlock's journal is to be believed."
"Well, we know that the fly statue is one of those figurines. I certainly don't know of any other magic items that look like flies." She looks over at the box. "The girl will be put back in the bag. I don't like it." She declares though as she looks the box over.

"Yeah let's at least think it out here for a minute" As Torrin talks he begins practicing his battle forms with the spear, testing to see if it'll work with his style ((if everyone is okay with a short rest I'd like to heal up and attune to this spear)) "and getting the rest of these items identified couldn't hurt. Plus we should check in with the archmage, maybe he knows this woman"
"A rest it is." Sylzet pushes the crystal with the girl back into the bag... rather impressed that it still fits. "...I don't trust it, and I certainly don't trust her." She says, as she picks up the box and slowly opens it.
