"I am not sure I recognize this red insignia," Lenlieth says. She searches the kobolds' corpses to see if she can find any clues as to the reason for the kidnapping. 

Boo continues to make him comfortable but does not attempt to try to wake him but rather attempts to determine if its safe to call for one of the others to fetch the wagon and use it to transport him to the temple or if it would be better to send someone from the group to fetch a cleric to come to attend the gravely injured man before moving him? In any event, she quickly reads the note aloud to the group and tells them what she discovered at the temple which the note confirms.

Lanae reaches down and pets the dog before she returns out of the house back the group. Showing them the red orb she found "Does anyone know what this is?" Bends down and comforts the dog.

“I have no idea what it means, but I don’t think we ca ignore what is going on here. Can one of you winged ones fetch a cleric please? The rest of use should try and do what we can for the town tonight, then investigate in the morning.”

Beril doesn’t normally try to take charge but he can’t stand the thought off anything happening to innocent children. Remembering his own childhood, I will do what I can for them. He thinks to himself.

Aregarak, not one to stand around says "Keep watch over him.....I'll fetch a cleric or a healer."  and he heads off towards the steeple of the church.

When he arrives at the church he will try and find the nearest person and ask them if they have a healer, then explain the situation to them and ask if they will return with him to the party.

He also does his best to not look intimidating 

Lanea stays bent down with the dog next to his master it would appear. Comforts him as she assumes Boo is trying to talk to the pet. Nods at Aregarak as he runs off to the temple. Still holding onto the red orb as well partially looking at it as she tries and comforts the animal.

GB continues to lay on the ground near the party muttering to no one in particular,

"...no not house...not houses...underground yes... no...stupid Kobolds."

Boo, you do sense that the orb is magical. The dog looks at you and says "Yes, I found the old dragon's lair, from the dragon legend. There are kobolds there now." The dog then brushes up against Lanea, seeming like it has taken a liking to the ranger. The mastiff then speaks to Boo again, "The lizards hurt town. I can show you where they are."

Aregarak, you manage to find a cleric in the mess and he grabs another cleric and a stretcher. They follow you back and at seeing the man, one of them says, "Oh Zeke, you just couldn't resist a challenge, could you?" They place Zeke on a stretcher and look at the group, then they reassure you all that Zeke will be fine, and they begin to carry him off towards the chapel.

Boo looks to Lanea, "the orb is magical, most definitely, but more than that I cannot say, perhaps GB could tell you more since he is a Wizard maybe he can Identify it?" When Aregarak returns with help for Zeke... Boo brings him up to speed and adds, "Zeke's dog here found the old dragon's lair now inhabited by Kobolds who have taken the town's children and can show us the way."

GB sits up at hearing his name.

"GB will look at this red you have, hand it to GB." 

He takes the orb in this hands and studies it.

Boo, can you ask the dog how far it is to the lair? Beril begins to look and feel restless  as he rubs at his facial scar. Does anyone else know anything about the area?

After the group answers then Beril will question any  towns people nearby about the area and the town.

Boo nods, then turn her attention back to the mastiff, "did you hear that," Boo asks the dog... "Boo fly and fetch a cleric, Boo who ate all the cheese," sigh..., "its a dog's life isn't it but who are we, am I right," she giggles, then looks at the dog... "oh come on that was funny."

The invisible Primrose buzzing around Boo's face chirps up in Boo's mind telepathically putting her back to the task, ((Boo just ask the question... please.))

Boo waves her finger at the air in front of her snapping, "now don't get all snippy with me, missy, I was getting to the question." She turns back to the dog, "sorry about that you know what fairies are like.. a pain in the..." ((Boo))

Boo frowns, looking down at the dog again, "two quick questions then about how far is the lair from here and... Is it just the Kobolds right? No dragon still hanging about right, I mean something like that you'd smell it right off?

"Stealing children is a cowardly thing....there is no honor in that." Aregarak rumbles

"And I'm still not convinced that Boo isn't touched in the head" he says as she snaps at Primrose and barks at the dog.

"Whatever we do the dog comes with us" Lanea reaches down and touches the dogs head.

GB, you can sense that the orb has been enchanted, and you can tell that there is a sense of warmth coming from the orb that will encompass whoever possesses it. 

The dog looks at Boo and says "Lair is very close. I don't know what dragon smells like, but lots of kobolds were there."

As you all are talking you see that a very old cleric is walking towards you all. (Boo, this is the same elder cleric you spoke with) As he draws close he begins to speak, "I hear that you all are the group that saved Zeke. Many thanks for helping him. We as a town must ask such a brave group of adventurers for their help again. Please find our children. We cannot save them without your help."

"GB senses enchantment of some sort, maybe fire element, GB not certain?"

He then tosses the orb to the old cleric.

" Yes, yes help.  GB help kill kobolds. Tell GB about this."

The priest looks at the orb, and then hands it back to GB. "I honestly have never seen an object like this before. It does not seem to be divine in nature though."

Lenlieth approaches the group, having found nothing of interest on the dead Kobolds. 

Seeing the glowing orb, she asks the others, "What have you got there?"

Boo giggles without warning, "a sense of warmth, I had that happen once but as I remember the magic item was more of a phallus and less of an orb but there were feathers involved, yes definitely feathers and most definitely divine... perhaps it's all related I could give it a try."

"Oh yeah," she mumbles, looking back down at the dog talking to it again, "let's see dragons... now I guess how they smell kinda sorta depends on their color, for instance, a Blue Dragon smells like chicken covered in blue cheese dressing topped lightly with honey... mmmm," she lets out a low moan, "so anyway dog... whats your name and whats with you and Lanea there anyway... I mean talk about sparks flying... I am starting to feel left out like a roll of three-week-old cheese loaf."

Boo feeling somewhat miffed walks towards Beril who wanted to know how far the lair was, sniffing her armpits... one then the other almost bumping into the old cleric as she walks, "oh hey again you.... no worries we are totally on the whole Kobold thing." Her voice trailing off as walks on past the cleric to Beril, her right arm still up in the air looking back at the dog, "what do you think Beril?" Walking around in a little circle as she sniffs, Boo adds, "oh the dog says it's not far and can show you whenever you are ready."

Somewhere nearby, there is a rather long, exasperated sigh of a sprite dying a little bit at a time...
