It is now dusk. The sun is no longer visible, but, there is enough light for everyone to see by. But, in half-an-hour to 45 minutes, it will be night and those without night vision will have more difficulty seeing things.
Looking at the wagon, two of the wheels are missing, but, the other two seem to be intact, although one of the two intact wheels is now partially buried (If the wagon was upright, one wheel would be on the right front and the other would be on the left rear). The holes cut into the wagon are crudely done, clearly not made by proficient woodworkers. Other than that, you don't see any thing unusual about the wagon. Dirt has been used to cover any gaps around the edges of the wagon. It appears that it would take a great deal of effort to dig around the wagon and enter the underside that way.
Quin munches on a ration as he waits. After a few minutes he realizes that three haven't followed him back to camp. He takes his last bite, brushes off any crumbs and decides to go see what's going on. On the way he motions to Lucas with a sideward nod of his head and says,
"Hey lets go make sure they didn't ger into any trouble."
Quin heads back to the top of the hill a couple unlit torches in his hand.
"If you insist, but at least let us make sure we can see the cargo at all times when going to them" Lukas is reminding quin about their primary job, while also being accommodating.
Quin converses with Lukas as the two wait upon the hill top keeping both wagons in site. "I agree. I'd prefer to leave this whole mess alone and just move on. So far what or whoever is in there hasn't touched anybody coming by. Sure it looks ominous but that doesn't really make it a problem. Like you said, Don't see the point in looking for trouble if the point is to keep the goods safe. If you assume this is hostile, which we have no proof of, then we should just block off the hatch and burn the wagon. Did I mention there's a hatch? There's a hatch. Anyway, going into the hatch is stupid too. Why face an unknown number of enemies on their ground in what's sure to be tight quarters. Besides you're right, ridding the country side of threats isn't what we're here for. So that leaves us stuck waiting for them to reveal themselves and their intentions. We're already set up to do that down the hill back at camp. We have high ground advantage so we should be able to keep them from surprising us. We should just set team watches for tonight. One up here and a second in camp. Wait them out til morning then move on. We can alert the closest militia or town guard of the currently non threatening wilderness wagon fort and let them deal with it. Besides who's to say our actions aren't the ones that are going to start problems. I just feel like the whole mess could be avoided. But I suppose if the others want to stir up a hornets nest not much I can do." Quin rolls his eyes as he finishes his mini rant relieved to finally get that off his chest. "Hey Max! What do you think about all this!" Quin calls to the wizard who has been quietly waiting off to the side.
Quill nears the 'hatch' and kicks the wagon forcefully, "If there be any in there ye best speak up before this thing gets torched!" He has his shield up and dagger at the ready.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Khoraj just shakes his head at all the *****ing and whining behind him. This is the problem His father always told him about when mixing with the "lesser's" there were always those with more mouth than balls.
When he gets to the wagon he stands with his crossbow ready and covers Quill and nods to Moshet.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Khoraj Strength check: 13
As Khoraj goes to hit the door, he slips on a wet spot of ground and bounces off the door, with his free hand landing in the liquid within the ditch/latrine.
ooc I apologize for the delayed post. A rattlesnake wandered into my yard last night, and my dog went after it. I spent several hours at the vet. On the good news side, after a night at the vet and a healthy dose of antivenom, he is fine. My bank account on the other hand . . .
OOC: well I thought Khoraj was just trying the door but apparently i was using my strength to force it open. after cleaning himself off He'll just step to the back and keep watch.
Quiller is going to investigate he wagon; carefully.

OOC note that the hatch/door is set in the dirt piled up behind the wagon. It is at least 10 feet away from the wagon itself
There is no response from Quill's continued attempts to get a response.
"please cover me " he says to his companions.and with that Khoraj opens the door standing to the side holding his crossbow one handed.

ooc Sorry about that. Misunderstood what you were trying to do. The door is clearly locked in some fashion and won't open with a simple tug on it.
