Bàn shrugs. "Worth a shot," he answers Qinfaren and then stands upright and starts walking for the door. He does not try to be stealthy or unseen, instead adopting a posture and purpose as if he was just going about his daily routine. Bàn doesn't look directly at the armored one nor does he not look at them, if they happen to make eye contact Bàn will give a short nod or acknowledgement but not change his route or pace unless forced...
As soon as Bàn is spotted the cruel-looking exoskeleton begins to whirl and the duegar inside begins to cry out in pain. It stops towards Bàn ready to attack.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Why do you do this if it causes you so much pain?" Qinfaren asks when he sees what's happening to the duergar. "We can help you get out of that armour."
Qinfaren empowers his staff, but he then holds his strike until he sees whether the duergar relents and agrees to stop fighting in return for help.
Engaged with the enemy Bàn can't easily cast his Eldritch Blast so instead changes to Booming Blade.
Booming Blade via Whip Attack: 9 to hit for 6 slashing damage plus if it hit's they're encased in booming energy which will do 3 Thunder Damage if they voluntarily move 5'...
"Aim for the fleshy bits!" Bàn answers and attempts to do just that! Bàn slashes out with his whip again and then pulls a dagger and stabs at any weak spot he notices with a bonus action...
Whip Attack: 16to hit for 6slashing damage BA Dagger attack: Nat 20 for 24to hit for 3(yes, 3 even doing crit) damage...
(What is? Attacks against this guy in the armor? Where was that mentioned? But if so, Whip stays at 16 and BA Dagger goes to a 19 to hit for just 1 damage...)
(Well, I don't think anyone has tried to target the guy in the armour before. Unless I am mistaken? You can strike the armour without a disadvantage but hitting him is at a disadvantage. I have included in Bjorn's attacks.)

(Bjorn attack first. No idea with disadvantage or not. Blue tried to bite the ear. No idea if with disadvantage or not. Bàn uses Eldritch Blast. Was not told to roll at disadvantage just that it had minimal effect after hitting... Qin readies an attack which I have no idea if it was at Dis or ever even triggered or not? Looking at post 4651, those rolls show when ya hover over them and they do seem to be rolled at Disadvantage... Bàn switches to Booming Blade and attack is crap so dis or not it wasn't going to hit. Qin then attacks, seems to be a straight roll. Post 4656 hovering shows Bjorn and Blue attacked with Dis and then Bàn attacks again and that is the first I see of being instructed that we're rolling at disadvantage. What were we attacking if not the guy in the armor? If there anyone else there? Sorry, I may be lost in this battle but I thought it was just party verses dueregar in the armor mecha suit? Are you making a differential between hitting the man inside the suit and hitting the suit itself? I see that I did have Bàn say aim for the fleshy bits... Honestly I thought that was more flavor than anything else. I assume in any battle one aims for the weak parts of the armor and such... I guess I just didn't realize that the mech suit was counting as more protective than, for example, plate mail?)

(Order: Bjorn, Bàn, Duergar, Qinfaren.)
Seeing the exoskeleon lunge forward towards, Bjorn attempts to intercept the attack but shooting the duergar with a bow and arrow.
As he prepares the arrow, Blue infuses it with his powers.
(Attack: 24 Damage: 7 piercing damage + 3 cold damage.)
Then Bjorn orders Blue to attack. The drake moves up to the duergar and attempts to bite him.
(Attack: 14 Damage: 5 piercing damage + 2 cold damage.)

Bjorn's arrow flies through the air striking the duergar in the head.
Then Blue crawls up the exoskeleton and bites the duergar's ear.

Bàn snaps off an Eldritch Blast at the figure while trying to maintain his distance...
Eldritch Blast: 21 to hit for 3 damage...
The eldritch blast strikes the exoskeleton but it has minimal effect. The exoskeleton continues, making its way to Bàn.
As the exoskeleton nears, it attacks Bàn. It attacks once with its claw and once with its hammer. Each time the duergar cries out in pain.
(Claw Attack: 20 Damage: 8 bludgeoning damage.
Hammer Attack: 6 Damage: 11 bludgeoning damage.)

Bonus Action - Casts Shillelagh
Action - Ready an attack with his enhanced staff (Attack: 19 Damage: 6 )
(Order: Bjorn, Bàn, Duergar, Qinfaren.)
"I'm not sure he is the one in control here, Qinfaren," Bjorn replies.
(Insight: 22
"Xardorok must have placed in him in that armour and it has the control. It's probably also the weak spot."
He then carefully aims the bow pointing at the duergar inside.
(Attack: 11 Damage: 11)
Bjorn's arrow flies through the air and misses the duergar.
"Attack," Bjorn instructs blue.
(Attack: 6 Damage: 3)

(Order: Bjorn, Bàn, Duergar, Qinfaren.)
Bàn casts Booming Blade and attacks the armoured duergar. However, he misses his target.
The exoskeleton continues on its assault on Bàn. It first attacks with its claw and then its hammer.
(Claw Attack: 20 Damage: 6 bludgeoning.

Not wanting to catch Bàn in the effects of some of the magic Qinfaren knows, he resorts to empowering his staff and swinging it a the duergar.
Shillelagh Attack: 22 Damage: 6
The three animals for now still wait neat Qinfaren, not yet getting their directions to attack.
Qinfaren swings his empowered staff at the exoskeleton striking against its hull. However, it seems to not do any damage.
"How do we fight this thing?" Bjorn asks. "How do fight metal?"
He then attempts to take careful aim at the duegar inside the exoskeleton once more.
(Attack: 11 Damage: 9)
He then orders Blue to continue attacking.
(Attack: 15 Damage: 2 piercing damage + 2 cold damage.)
