Lennart turns around, "Ah, Aragno, was it? Hmmm, I'm not sure what has happened. Turth is keeping tight-lipped about it. If I was to hazard a guess, I think it might be connected to the incident from the other night. Although I don't know if it means something else has gone overboard, or whether he has found something out, I don't know.
However, it is best to do as he says. We don't want to be stranded on Ice Peak. It will be a couple of tendays before another ship makes it up this far north. Don't do anything that could get yourselves, and possibly the rest of Luskar Deliverers on his bad side."

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Arogna's own ideas of how to spell her name are fairly vague, so she doesn't bother correcting Lennart. "Me? Nah, Mr. Bassk, I'm not gonna do anything. I already got in trouble for arguing with the captain once." She returns to the group and tells them what Lennart said.
Shad joins the others and reports what the sailor said. "The captain is keeping secrets, even from his crew." He chews his lip for a moment. "This sort of thing brings out the fears in me. If that dwarf--Giggles was it?--died in the night we're prime suspects. Or, what if the captain worships Umberlee? What if he and his crew are going to dump us all in her waters?"
Qinfaren listens to Arogna and Shad, nodding as they speak.
"If you can draw attention to yourselves by the railing," he begins. "I can disappear first, walk over to the captain's door, change my shape and go in and see if I can find anything out."
"Don't worry, Shad," says Arogna, folding her arms. "I'd be the prime suspect. What do you think we should do for attention? Start a fight? Or a gambling game? That's all I can think of, unless any of you knows how to dance."
Arogna lets out a robust laugh. "That's proper nice of you, Shad. But there's two sorts of beings in the world. Them that dance, and them that don't. And I'm one of them that don't. I was thinking one of you lot might know how to put on a performance." She grins around the group. "Don't seem all that likely, I'll admit."
An expression appears on the half-orc's face as if she has just remembered something on her character sheet. "Wait, I can put on a performance. Hold on," she says, heading below deck for a few moments, and returning with a shallow but quite wide leather-faced wooden drum. "I know a funny song I can do. That'll get their attention. So what are we gonna do, investigate or leave it? I told Mr. Bassk I wasn't gonna do anything to get into trouble with the captain. Doesn't mean you can't."
"Certainly won't object to a little drum music!" Shad says. "Qinfaren, if you are absolutely sure you won't be spotted . . . It is okay with me. I do want to hear from the others, though."
“Well I don’t see anything bad in killing some time with some music. Nothing against the captains orders and nothing that would get is in trouble.”
Muharg thinks for a second “Maybe I can go down to the captain’s cabin and offer him again some help” Looks up at Qinfaren “This way you might have it easier to sneak in... Maybe you can even be hiding on the inner side of my cloak and climb down while I’m inside”
"I'll get started, anyways." Arogna squats on the deck and starts playing her drum, and singing quite loudly in Common. The song is an account of one of the adventures of the character Uncle Grog, a popular orc cultural figure. (Performance: 7)
Shad stands listening politely to Arogna. He listens, trying to gauge how distracted the crew members are. (Perception: 10)
If it seems necessary, he will start climbing the main mast of the ship. "I'll be able to see some place warm, right?" he'll say. He will circle the mast as he goes.
Qinfaren cringes a little at the sound of Arogna’s performance. Maybe that’s what her tribe likes, he thinks to himself.
Then he sees Shad heading to the mast.
“Ready? Go knock on the captain’s door. I’ll be there waiting.” he says to Muharg.
Qinfaren steps back into the entry to below decks and quickly turns invisible then makes his way across the deck to the captain’s cabin door, making sure he stays to the side of the actual entry way. Once there he concentrates on the pretty black spider he has been watching spin webs below deck and suddenly he changes his form to match that of the spider. He climbs up the wall a little but stays low to avoid being seen.
(Firbolg Hidden Step as a bonus action, movement across deck, and then Druid’s Wild Shape as his action)
The door to the captain's cabin swings open, and Captain Silvermane steps out,
"Yes, what do you want?" He pauses for a moment waiting for a response and the notices the sound of Arogna putting on her performance. "Who on earth is making such a noise?"

"Oh, that's just Arogna, since we are not to leave the ship for a while she thought she could light up the mood of the crew with some music." Says as he points over his shoulder with his thumb.
"About the current situation, however... May I come in?"
If allowed, he'll go inside, if not he'll try and lure the captain a few steps from the door threshold to free the way for Qinfaren.
"Sir, we know we might have caused a bit of trouble, first with the incident the other night when we saw someone..." Pauses for a second. ",or something... falling overboard, our futile rescue attempt, and more recently the confrontation with the duergar." Adjusts his belt "But if there's anything we can do to help with the current situation, please let us know. We will gladly assist with whatever is in our hand. Both to solve the problem itself, but also to be able disembark and go on with our duty in the city as soon as possible."

Arogna does a good job at causing a distraction, though not necessarily in the way she had hoped.
"What are you doing?" demands a crew member.
Another one chimes in, "Yeah, stop that!"
"You can't keep a good rhythm."
"And you're singing is off-key."

Arogna breaks off for a moment. "You got no appreciation of other cultures," she huffs, then starts again, but more loudly, and in orcish.
Muharg knocks on the captain’s door “Captain sir, a word?”
