The Forge of Fury

The skelton's digits fall apart under the weight of the great, hafted item—but its skull is fixed with a permanent, toothy smile. You could swear it looks almost grateful.

Aregarak will repeat the oil torch trick on the other skeleton

The fire likewise burns away the mold that covers the second skeleton, leaving behind the singed bones of a human. This one wears a silver-chased steel helm, non-magical but worth about 110 gp. 

Aregarak isn't nearly as impressed - but money is money so in to a pouch it goes....

 From here it seems like it's a dead end—if you wanting to progress through the rest of this underground area, there are some obvious choices all back the way you came.

Lana notices Spirit growl and reaches into her pack pulling out a ration, not really having much of anything else to feed her and drops it to the ground next to Spirit. "Sorry girl I will find you something better soon" she said.

The panther chews awkwardly on the dried ration, rumbling her gratitude. 

“Hmm, not sure from here” Bel walks over and taps Aregarak’s new sword with his ‘pocking stick’ “nice blade Big Guy”

As you cavort in the torchlight, movement from the tunnel outside the room catches your eye for a fleeting moment.

Lana pulls an arrow from her quiver taking a quick inventory on how many she has left as she follows but not to close behind Aregarak.

GB sees the party react to something not within his sight.  He stops preening and get his head back into the moment. 

At Aregarak’s reaction, Bel spins on his heel to face what ever maybe there. Then he follows his bullheaded friend.

Following the elusive movements, Aregarak comes back into the larger cavern where the battle with the bear took place. He can hear skittering, reptilian sounds emanating from the western exit, back the way you had originally come from—and just at the edge of the torch's illumination.

"Bah, whatever it was skittered off the way we already came.....lets move deeper"

The sounds are receding, getting farther away from you.
