OOC: Bart is going to ( in pretty much every occasion) be toward the back of the group to help them with his music, healing when necessary. He does have a rapier if need be as well.
Bart looks to Rachel and grabs her hand saying "it is of the utmost pleasure to have you accompanying us Ms. Rachel" and 'kisses' her hand as best he can with his beak.

Rachel cocks her head at Bartholomew, a wry smile crossing her face which quickly turns to worry. "That injured wing looks to be painful, have you had a healer look at it?"

Bart replies to Rachel "it's a pain worth having love, I wouldn't get it healed no matter how painful it became as it is a remainder of my past and how I should act malady. Are you wise in the ways of healing young woman? Is that why you ask?"

Fischer walks up and nods to the assembly in greeting. "I'll be heading out with you, that track likes to hide. I don't be doubting your skills," looking at Wilhorn, "but this just ain't natural." He looks down and shakes his head. "Now, I ain't venturing inta the swamp, just helping ya make sure ya be on the right road. I kin start setting up camp for the Captain and his men too. I'm ready to whenever y'all are. I heard the Cap'n has some business to attend to before they head out."

Kina was just being quiet and listening. Meeting Wil was one thing, but she's actually a little shy in larger groups.
"I don't need much for accommodations. A stable and a pillow works well enough for me. Can you imagine how overblown and ridiculous a centaur inn would look be?" she says, and clops forward and introduces herself and where she's from.
"And from the sounds of things, whatever is driving these people to abduct by force in rather large numbers is clearly wielding a lot of influence. We'll need all the help we can get." she says.

Rachel looks wryly at Bartholomew, "Aye, I am, but others' pain causes me pain as well. If you change your mind, let me know. I cannot guarantee that I can fix it, but you never know unless you try." Looking around at the rest of the group, she turns to Fischer and Wil, "looks like we are all gathered and ready, lead on good sirs!"
It takes a bit over 3 hours to reach the start of the trail into the Greymere Moors, along the way, Fischer regales you with a few of his tales from the moors, including multiple warnings of the creatures that live deeper into the swamp. "I found wagon tracks heading into the moor," he says, "which means they were able to keep their oxen safe for the trek. So ye be wise to keep as close to the trail as you can, because I've seen critters out there big enough to swallow a man whole. If that map be accurate, their camp should only be a day and a half in. If you leave now, you should reach it around dusk tomorrow. Keep yer eyes open, and come back safe."
Once on the trail, you find it to be clear and easy to follow, but lose track of Fischer almost immediately. Stagnant pools of brackish water dot the spaces between the prolific foliage. The grasses average 3-4 feet tall, and while there are no trees, there are a number of bushes reaching up to 7' high. By early evening, you are looking for a place to camp for the night, everyone roll perception check.

You hear heavy footfalls and creaking coming from ahead, but see nothing as yet.
Wilhorn:
You hear heavy footfalls and creaking that sounds similar to the wagon you were recently driving and see something moving toward you from further ahead on the trail.

Wil turns to the group, motions for everyone to be quiet and then quietly communicates that he hears and sees a wagon coming down the trail and for everyone to get off the trail, hide, and hopefully the wagon will pass without incident.
Happy to be part of a cadre again, Barnabus feels more and more in his element the closer they get to the moore's. Happy as he is he travels mostly in silence listening and assessing each story shared.
By the time they arrive at the trail he is at full combat attentiveness, his axe and shield poised and ready. He sees the wagon almost as quickly as Will and is already moving for cover by the time the fellow adventurer signals to move.
There is a ox-drawn wagon approaching that is all too familiar. Single ox, two men in front, Barnabus can confirm one more in the back. They are still about 100' away and give no indication that have noticed anything as yet.

Not one to hide from a conflict Barnabus had only thought to hide for the purpose of ambush. He gave a bit of a derisive snort at letting the wagon pass unhindered but decided he'd go along. Besides there were other soldiers at the end of the trail. Surely they could handle the likes of these three. Still he tightened his grip as the wagons approached.
