"I didn't take a good look at it. I wouldn't know..." To solve that issue, Cami moves towards it until she has a clear sight of it. Upon getting a look at the large cloud of air, moving around as an entity, Cami starts thinking about what sort of creature this was.
Not having much time to do anything else, she steps out of the way while going over what she remembered to see if she can help them with advice.
Cami, you are able to get a good view of this whirling mess of air. From your studies, you are generally aware of 'Elementals' which you know as being incarnations of the elements that make up the universe: earth, air, fire and water. You know they're usually called on and/or created by powerful beings to take shape and perform tasks. You aren't really sure what the best way to harm these types of things are other than what someone would be able to deduce themselves as common knowledge (ie. hot vs. cold, etc.)
From there, you move ahead and then south, indeed enticing the mass of air to last out at you with its flying debris: Attack: 13 Damage: 11 and you're able to skillfully dodge the debris!
Farok, you move forward like a boss and hold your shield firm right in front of the thing which you can now also see very clearly. It looks mad with it's face-like shape in the middle of it.
Pocket has very little to do in terms of things they can help with. Cami does have an idea, suddenly, though. Pocket is sent up ahead of everyone for a little scout mission, the presence of the elemental a little scary, but not that much.
Movement: 60 ft. of movement inside the Elemental's tunnel to get on the other side.
As Pocket's flying away, Cami starts explaining her thoughts to the group. "So... It is an elemental, I know that much... Hm... My, how can't I remember it? Conjuration was my favorite... It's powerful, that's true, but huh, if you think it'd hurt air, it'd probably hurt the elemental as well... That's how most elementals go."
Pocket times its flight perfectly through the mass of blowing air, likely above it entirely as it passes east through the zigzag hallway where the air mass came from. The zigzag hall has a few scattered bones on the ground. At the end of that hallway, Pocket sees the door more clearly now towards the east. It is closed. There is also a small room at the end of the hallway and on the floor of that room, Pocket sees a tattered suit of leather armor, two halves of a shattered wooden shield, a rusty longsword, a rotting quiver, several broken arrows, and a longbow with a snapped string.
Next Round: Air, Frilvoril, Peek, Cami, Farok, Pocket
The air mass starts to blow quite wildly now, and you all think you hear a high pitched scream as it continues to spin. Dust is flying madly about. It then forms into a tube-like form and is able to pass by Farok's shield and body with ease as the mass of air almost caresses the muscular form as it passes around him and stops at the hallway junction. It starts to then spin very wildly now, just like before, and screaming even more now as it sends debris towards the hulking Farok. The entity seems to be getting 'angrier'.... but for now, it seems to use the same type of offensive as it did just moments before. Farok braces for the impacts with his shield.
Attack: 10 Damage: 15
Attack: 18 Damage: 17
...he manages to dodge and block most of the debris, but one larger rock does crack him right in the head.
Fril fires his bow twice quickly and motions for Peek to do the same. Peek runs around a corner pausing for a brief second to make sure that the elemental wasn't following where he had ran before peeking out from around the corner and letting his arrow loose from his hiding place. He then ducks back into another alcove. Fril shouts to Cami, "Do you think we should we be running away? Or can we take it?" Both his and Peeks arrows have been getting resisted by this creature and Fril isn't so sure how strong these things are, so Fril starts flapping backwards slowly to put a little distance between him and the air thing.

Move: 5 Feet South-West (Down to the square below the junction)
Fril, both of the arrows rip through the now funnel-like air mass as it makes that high pitched scream again. (-7)
(holy hell! 2 20's!)
Given that the air mass is kind of contorted now to fit in the hallway, and it's not even facing west, and with that roll vs. the mass's PP, Peek is able to hide and gets a perfect shot which also rips through the air mass. More screams (-4) as Peek nestles up in that alcove.
Cami seems almost confused by Fril's question, and she gives an honest answer. "I don't know? I mean, books don't generally put to scale which creature's stronger than which... What were you expecting me to tell you?" Cami goes for one of her pockets and grabs something. "But here's what I think... I have no idea how to run faster than wind, so the option to run seems kinda... impossible?"
Cami takes a step back, holding to a familiar portable cannon, but instead of just using it how she usually would, she's holding on to it with her shield arm and her torso together, and with the other hand, she's putting a little more gunpowder than would usually be there, along with more than one pellet. She points the cannon vaguely towards where she thinks the elemental is and fires it, a line of fire tracing the first pellet's path, and then another one before a third one is fired with great intensity, leaving smoke out of the cannon and ashes on Cami's gloves as they burn a little as well.
Movement: 5 ft. south.
Bonus Action: (I wish. Cannon is currently nonexistent.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cami, 2 of the 3 pellets find their mark hit directly in the middle of the air mass, and the liens of fire along with the intensity of the shots seems to cause this blowing air mass quite a lot of discomfort. It kind of causes the air to 'burn' in some parts and the air becomes more like smoke for a little bit. The entity did not like that. (-22)
The beastly Farok calls out and continues to hold his ground amongst the extremely high winds and flying debris in this passageway. The wind is whistling.
Pocket flies its path, skillfully avoiding any flying debris and anticipating the gusts of wind as it zips through the passageway and settles 15ft behind Cami.
Next Round: Air, Frilvoril, Peek, Cami, Farok, Pocket
The mass of air has become very upset at what Cami has just done to it. It starts to blow in its curved sausage-like form to fit in this hallway, even faster than before as it moves south down the passage and engulfs Cami in its wind-sausage body.
Cami, please make a STR save. (pending results of save -> 15)
Other things will happen pending the results of that STR save, so I will pause here.
Also, Farok has an attack of opportunity to make on the air mass as it moved away from him to get to Cami. He can do that now.
Fril and Peek will be up next, if you want to queue there moves feel free! Same with anyone else down the line if it makes sense to do so.
Seeing just the tail end of the Air Elemental, Fril quickly draws and releases two arrows at the whirling air. He takes a closer look at it and even though it appears to be made of nothing other than air, he has a few tricks up his sleeve that might just be able to let him get away. However, seeing it pursue Cami, Fril knows running away is no longer an option and so he motions for Peek to follow after him, firing another arrow and ducking back down in the hallway below. Finally, Fril calls out to Farok, "Our arrows don't appear to be doing much, but they at least look like they are doing something. Maybe you try swinging your sword?"
Cami, the sausage air mass flows around and above you, and the force of the wind gusts are too strong to resist. You take numerous large rocks to the head from the debris (-15), and you are then very violently slammed against the east wall of the hallway and are knocked prone. I envision your goggles bouncing off your head and you looking like a kid with glasses who got beat up by a bully back in the 80's when you land on the ground as you look up at the thing with your out of place goggles. You also take 4 damage from that fall.
Farok you can still take that attack of opportunity.
Fril and Peek, all of those arrows cut through the air mass just like before. Peek is also able to hide quite easily behind the wall. The arrows are definitely doing damage, albeit it not as much as flesh. (-10 total). Peek also moves to where you have specified and I will update the map after the next post.
Cami is up! Then Farok (after he makes his AoE) and then Pocket.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Swinging his sword as the thing floats away, Farok chases after it. He had been hoping to keep it steady, but if it’s willing to move he has no choice but to try to add some damage, even if swinging a sword at wind seems ineffective.
AoE - Attack: 13 Damage: 5 move down to it Attack: 12 Damage: 8 Attack: 18 Damage: 9
After having her feet raised from the ground and being thrown around towards the wall violently, Cami tries to raise herself from her position on the ground, feeling quite scared of triggering a direct reaction from the elemental again. A few of her items had fallen on the ground along the way, and so she grabs one of those as she's getting up.
The item in her hand was her electric glove, without thinking too much, she stands back on her two feet and reaches out with the metal beads of the glove sparking with electricity. Hoping that that will make her safe, she then heads closer towards Pocket to get away from the elemental.
As Cami's recovering her breath, Pocket's going the other way. As they cross the elemental, Pocket swings their talons. Pocket's true intentions weren't to damage the elemental, but instead, it was to provoke it and distract it. Before the elemental can hope to catch Pocket, they fly away, directly into the hallway where Fril and Peek were.
Movement: 25 ft. north (flying 10 ft. above the floor)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Farok, you cut through the air mass as it moves away (AoE) and while your instincts about attacking air with a sword are correct, the entity aspect of this thing along with the power of the swing itself does manage to do at least some damage. (-2)
Cami, the air sausage manages to fling around a few more rocks at you as you move south after the wind seems to blow out the sparks from the glove almost instantly. Attack: 16 Damage: 18 and you're able to move your head and they do not hit you.
Farok, you move down to the air mass and your first swing cuts through it (-2) but the second one is blown wide just at the last moment.
Pocket daringly flies over the air once again and does a great job of distracting it by cutting the top of it with its talons. It causes no damage, but it definitely takes its attention for a moment and Farok will gain the benefits of that on his next turn. It then flies west as described.
Next Round: Air, Frilvoril, Peek, Cami, Farok, Pocket
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(that's a recharge fail!)
(I am going to slightly change Pocket's help action here because it doesn't make sense for the help to work if Pocket has now flown away. So - I will add disadvantage to the air's attacks on Farok right now since it just had the bird fly through it and cut it with the talons. Everyone cool with that?)
The air flings more rocks at Farok (disadvantage as per above): Attack: 11 Damage: 11 Attack: 15 Damage: 11
Taking the same actions as their last turn, Fril launches 2 arrows at the wind mass, and Peek launches 1 after trying to hide.
Fril: Attack: 14 Damage: 9 Attack: 24 Damage: 7
Peek: Stealth 28 arrow: Attack: 16 Damage: 5
Cami is up! Then Farok and then Pocket. No changes to the map.
Math - let me know if that was ok once you return.
*All of those arrows slice through the air mass! They cut through it and the thing starts to really scream out that high pitched sound. It echos through the hallways... (-14)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Now that she was certain the elemental wasn't too close to her, Cami grabbed her small cannon again, after making sure the smoke had already stopped coming out after the last reckless attack, she charges it with one single pellet and fires at the elemental again.
Pocket was in the perfect position to follow with a plan very similar to what it had just done. Cami catches up on that, and orders Pocket to fly in to make another distraction before flying back to their original position.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cami, the wind blows the flying pellet and it does not seem to hit the air.
Farok holds his ground and takes two swings again at the air mass, likely at the thing's face. The first swing cuts through the air (-3) but the second one is blown wide.
(Peek seems to think that the wind is slowing down from what he said - I think he meant that it's looking pretty worse for wear!)
Pocket flies up the the blowing air and uses the same tactic to hopefully distract and throw this mass of air off when/if it were to attack Farok again.
Next Round: Air, Frilvoril, Peek, Cami, Farok, Pocket
The wind is blowing noticeably slower now, although it still seems angry and might just be on its last legs, er.. last breath?
