As Katharine begins to move the clock hands the door to the middle section slides shut. Then you the sound of mechanisms working around the room before the door slides open again.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Vixon flies through the library and takes a right hand turn at the study, moving in the direction opposite to where the Spirit of Christmas Past was found. Vixon finds himself in a section of the library filled with books about geography, politics, medicine and modern arcane advances.
In the middle of the room, there stands a colossal frost giant wearing a green robe. Upon the head of the frost giant sits a holy wreath.
"Hark!" bellows the colossal apparition, "tis I, the Spirit of Christmases Present! If you wish to find that which was stolen from you then answer this riddle for me;
"No matter how much rain falls on me, I will not get any wetter. What am I?"

Best turns to the others and describes the frost giant and explains what he has just heard. He thinks for a moment and asks the others "It could be an ocean, or a sea. It could also be a duck or a fish. This one is interesting. What do you guys think? I know when I am soaked I can't get any wetter in the rain, so maybe the answer is 'soaked' " Best laughs at himself
Katharine shakes her head, "I think you are along the right tracks, but I think you've overcomplicated it. If you're soaked you can't get any wetter, that is correct. But I think you're missing the obvious answer, it must be water. Right? Water can't get any wetter, it's already wet."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"True," Nephris nods, "Why don't we go inside and have a look around at the books in case there's any other hints there as before? But water does sound like the simple and obvious answer." He then heads in and looks at some of the books to see if anything new pops up in his search (Investigation: 18).
Nephris begins examining the books around the library. He decides to investigate the section to the north and finds a section on nature. Here he finds many books discussing botany, zoology, anatomy, and physiology. One book in particular he notices, is called "A Comprehensive Guide to Red Gargantua Flowers," and is sitting with a few inches hanging over the edge of the shelf.
However, another book is called "Water of the Oceans", and yet another is called "Fungi of History".

Nephris scratches his chin, "Nothing as blatant as before unfortunately. Several books on horticulture, such as flowers and fungi. But one book on the waters of the oceans. Perhaps that's it?" He turns the spirit and says, "The answer is ocean, right?" He then also picks up the A Comprehensive Guide to Red Gargantua Flowers to have a closer look as well, "I wonder why this was sitting out?" he says to himself.
Nephris flips through the book, A Comprehensive Guide to Read Gargantua Flowers, and learns that these flowers are known to eat gold pieces.
Meanwhile, Best flips through the book, Water of the Oceans, and sees that book talks about marine life found in the different oceans around the world.

Best puts the book back and looks at the ghost "Did we solve your riddle or not? My friends tell me the answer is WATER. Is that right?" He waits for a reply.
The colossal frost giant replies, "That is the correct answer."
The frost giant then disappears fading from view. Behind where the giant was, you can now see bins containing scrolls sitting on the floor, next to the bookcases.

Best will search through the bins of scrolls for anything interesting
(OOC: do I need a check or is this just a find already? My investigation or search abilities are not great so I will help Nephris if an ability check is needed)

(DM Question - So, just to confirm, the same door shuts, and then reopens?)
(Yeah, the same door shuts and then reopens. The door you was trying to get through in the first place.)

Best immediately sends Vixon to fly in and look around using an action to see through it's senses.
Lot's of stuff ...

Best will again move around inside as well and, with Vixon, will look around again.

Cade just continues swirling around, ready to aid if anything turns out to be hostile.
Best sees Nephris investigating and asks "Is there anything interesting?"
