Flying you guys see only one of the Scrags lounging by itself.
Flying in the air, Gryrig shouts to the others: "Should we worry about where the other ones are? Let's try and take this one out quickly and then circle back to the boat as soon as we can."
Azzure says “Fine by me, let me light it up for you!” He swoops down on his broom within 120 feet and sends a guiding bolt at the Scrag. The bolt covers the creature in dim light, giving the next attack advantage to hit.
Guiding bolt : 23 to hit, for 13 points of radiant damage.
Initiative : 16, due to vigilant blessing.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Duncan:
Hanging back a bit and walking on the ice, Duncan is content to let the others bombard the Scrag from the air as he blocks its path to open water. Where the other one might be concerns him, though, as he looks around for other threats.

Unsure where the other troll has gone, Torman decides that discretion is the better part of valour. A bright point of light leaps from his finger, launching itself at the apparent lone troll. As it reaches its destination it erupts into a giant ball of flame.
Fireball22 Fire damage; DC 17 DEX for half in a 20' radius sphere centred on the scrag.
(Shame. I was wondering if floating them in the air would have been feasible.)
Gyrig, seeing the Scrag looking a bit burned from Torman's fireball, decides that it's probably best to stay out of reach of this one - and the other one which he suspects to be in the water somewhere. He stays out of reach of the Scrag in the air (say about 30ft above it) and manifests two Psychic knives to throw at the creature:
Lagging behind and on the ground, Duncan waits to see what the scrags do. He plans to stay between then and the open water (readying a dash to intercept if needed) and has his blade out and ready to fight.

As they are flying, Azzure swoops down within 60 feet and points at the first Scrag, a bell sounds around them, and then he pulls away to a higher height.
Casts : Toll the dead for 15 points of necrotic damage, DC 17 wisdom save to avoid.

The first scrag dies without retaliation! The second Scrag swims, jumps out of the sea throwing an Ice ball at Gryrig Attack: 24 Damage: 8 then dives back in the water.
His readied action going off, Duncan rushes at the second scrag as it makes itself known (Reaction to dash at Skrag as it shows up near the water). If he gets close enough to it as it throws, he might just foul its aim and/or get an opportunity attack as it leaves his threatened area…
