Kraven keeping an eye on the group to see if they are ready to move on will move about the area taking a look at this and that and seeing if anyone is paying any particular attention to our group. Moving about the area not necessarily hiding but keeping to the outskirts and the shadows as much as possible.
Everyone does notice you all they are not really gawking at you all, but you all do stand out. Each group is in their own uniform of sorts, not everyone in 1 uniform, but each group in their own, the leader being noticeable in most groups, large/r hat, a tipped, larger oar medallion, an oar staff. (You have noticed this both with in the temple and on your way up.)
You group of pilgrims from the bridge come in shortly after you guys do which is when you get more eyes your way. They point to you talk a little, then point, and talk some more. Most pointing you can tell is going straight to Mist.
None of them really notice you unless you get close to their group.
" Great job,Mist! " Gintarou gives the halfling a wary smile." I really don't get it. Why are you so popular with girls? You barely reach my hip! Are there any secrets or something? Anyway, a hot meal and warm bed are too good to resist. I do hope the Oarsman doesn't give us another surprise tonight, though" Then the warrior yawns so heavily that it looks like he can swallow the head of a human child.
(Kraven if there is anything that you wanted to do retroactively let me know.)
You all get a full long rest. in the morning there are even more people that managed to come in over the night, or first thing in the morning. This does include the group of extremists, who all are kneeling at an altar, their knees and hands are bleeding as they pray. Their leader is talking with Sister Selka, as is one of the people from the bridge and two other group leaders.
Bolo is already working and making noise, which is a pain seeing as he worked late into the night as well.
As everyone wakes Selka and the other four approach the group, Mist specifically, and Selka speaks in her soft voice.
“High Priest Mist, I apologize for not recognizing you last night. I have heard tales of your great deeds, and we have talked. We would be honored if you lead us in our servus tonight. It will be the full moon.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven would have sought a corner to sleep in to watch over everything. In the morning when he sees the group conversing he would quickly move to the group to warn them of what has been going on if they have not noticed themselves. That our group especially Mist is garnering too much attention.
Here the cultists approach behind him Kraven would quickly move out of the way and moving to each member of the group and warning them that this area may become hostile to the party very quickly. Especially if those self-harming extremists are involved.
After that he would start to make his way to the exit and the way up to see just how defensible the climb can be and if there is any easy way to block the route from others coming after us.
Perception: 7
I am sure I am being overly cautious here as Mist knows what he is doing, however.... Kraven thinks.
At Gintarou's question, Mist winks again and motions with one hand from his head down to his feet. "You can see what I'm workin' with here." He does a little twirl so the big man can drink it all in. "Didn't your pa ever tell you it's not the size of the tool... It's if ya look good usin' it!" The halfling doubles over laughing at his own dubious wit.
Waking early with the noise of Bolo's incessant banging and clanging, Mist rifles through his pack to find something. He pulls out a book he doesn't remember buying, trading, or stealing, frowns and shrugs, and starts reading as the rest of the group comes to consciousness.
Puzzled and a little anxious about Selka's proposal, Mist stands to his full height (all 3'5" of it) and puts the book and both hands over his heart and smiles up at her. "I thank you, Sister, for your kind words. They warm my cold, wet, little heart, they do. And you couldn't have better timing, to be perfectly honest, as I just happen to have been reviewing everything in anticipation," he says, lowering the book to indicate the title "The Tents of the Oarsman and Ceremonies of the Full Moon."
"However, as I said last night: We must needs be on our way if we're to get this particularly perilous pebble to a safe distance before it can potentially pose a problem for a practically perfect part of your precariously-planned party! Perhaps we can make it back by the next full moon. I'd be honored to... officiate. But in the meantime, I'm afraid the Rowerman... uh... Oarsman! Right. He's got other orders a body must carry out and there's simply no time for side trips to the Astronomical Plane." Mist finishes this last bit as he stuffs the book back into his bag and shoulders it, looking to the rest of the group to confirm they're ready and willing to set out again. Those more familiar with his antics might piece together that he doesn't seem particularly keen on sticking around long enough to get caught in his own ruse.
As Mist gives his answer to Selka Druquilla does her best to hold in a laugh, "Yes...its too bad we must continue on...it would have been such a sight to see...High Priest Mist give an important service...to all the great follows of the Oarsman."
Druquilla turns her back away from the followers to regain her composure. Once she has finally calmed herself down she turns back to the follows as they lay their gifts before Mist, her eyes immediately go to the bow. Picking up the bow she holds it up to the early morning light, watching the light reflect off the silver string, before testing the tension of the string, she then turns to Mist, "It is not a bad bow."
"Now what'd I be wantin' with a bow, then?!" Mist whispers exasperatedly back to Druquilla, eyes not leaving the pile of loot. Clearly not thinking about any of the rest of the group.
He lets the silence hang in the air for several more uncomfortable moments.
Finally he sighs and responds, "Well... Let it be at your own peril. That durn rock won't be removin' itself. And if the Oarsman's cross with me for belaying his orders, it'll be on your head!" His eyes snap up to the leaders. "I'll be needin' a quiet place to finish my, uh... devotional time to prepare. Let's see what's to be done about this blasted dwarf."
Looking to the group, he spots Aubric and says, "Oi! Baldy-face! You're a dwarf. Can't you say something to Mr. Bolo over there? See what his deal is? See if he can wait 'til tomorrow or summat?"
On the path upward Kraven is standing there looking back at the rest of the group, beak wide open in disbelief. He the slowly closes his beak shakes his head and stares down at the ground continuing to shake his head as he comes back and joins the group.
"If you do not want I will keep it then," Druquilla responds shouldering the bow she then turns to Selka. "I am curious what dwarf do you have a problem with? Is it the one trying to fly or is it a different one, or do you just not like dwarves in general?"
Gintarou takes a few steps away from Mist. He looks up at the sky and waits to see if a thundercloud appears and strikes the halfling, or if a man eating panda dolphin falls from above and devours the warlock. Nothing happens. It seems that even the Oarsman himself was convinced by the Mist's hoax. Gintarou sighs, shakes his head. It doesn't make sense. But since most things about Mist don't make sense, the warrior decides to simply accept the fact. Gintarou puts the tributes other than the longbow into the bag of holding. He has the feeling that they will need these items in the near future. "Oh Mist the mighty and marvelous! I'm ready to roll."
Gintarou turns his gaze to the priestess. He thinks and he says. "I have a similar question like our sea-elf. What do you want to do with the dwarf? Do you want him to stop making noise or… prevent him from killing himself in an innovative way?"
"I want him gone!" She answers while pointing directly at the dwarf, that I don't remember saying his name but it is Bolo. "This is a temple to The Oarsman. When I got here after the accention he was just here, like he owned the place! And has not stopped the racket ever sence! HE does not belong here!"
"If he was here before you got here how do you know he does not belong?" Druquilla questions. "Did you not think the Oarsman put him here for a reason? He appears to be a skilled craftsman did you not think about asking him to apply his skills to aid you? The Oarsman put us all here for a reason, I feel your anger towards the dwarf comes from an inability to understand the Oarsman's reason, perhaps even doubt of the Oarsman himself."
Druquilla gives Selka a long hard stare, "I feel you should go back and think on the teachings of the Oarsman, maybe there you will find his reason and remove your doubt of him from your heart."
Aubric actually looks a bit offended at Mist comparing him to the dwarf. "I usually do not interfere in the affairs of dwarves. My pursuits are more cerebral than your average blacksmith"
Seeing the scroll Aubric will say to Gintarou "I would gladly take a look at that scroll and see if I can make use of it"
And he would like to take the 2 hours to copy it into his spellbook.
" I see… " Gintarou pulls at his beard. He gently puts his hand on the sea elf's shoulder. "Druquilla, what you said is reasonable. But emotion is an irrational beast that is hard to put on a collar. Then he looks down at the priestess. "Sister Selka, I have an idea that may help both sides. But before I tell you that, can you allow me to talk with the dwarf?"
"As you wish, my friend." Gintarou willingly hands the scroll to Aubric. Since he doesn't understand what is written on, the scroll better belongs to someone who can read it.
"Please do talk with him. So you all are staying for the ceremony!" Selka says with excitement in her voice, well what one could call excitement for her.
" Ah… thank you, sister " We better leave this place early. Gintarou thinks. The excitement of the priestess gives the warrior chills down his spine. Gintarou has no idea what place the Oarsman is going to take his believers to. But there is definitely not his nirvana.
Gintarou walks up to the dwarf. He sits down, bends his neck and sets his eyes on the same level as the inventor. " Hello. My name's Gintarou. I'm one of the friends of the bird person. I have heard that you want to make a pair of wings and fly with them. Can you tell why you want to fly in the first place. And how you ended up here. Are you one of the followers of the Oarsmen?"
The Dwarf laughs with a full belly laughter. "No, I am not one of these crack pots. Till I was a man I lived below the earth, in caves so low, some you would not be able to stand straight up. When my father brought me to the surface for the first time, it was over for me. I saw birds flying, and I wanted that. I went home got my tools and have never gone back. Just building my wings, and trying to fly. That's why I came here, someone told me about how high this spire reaches and I thought it would be a good place to test the wings. I should be finished with them some time today maybe tomorrow, I should be able to test them here by the end of tomorrow and then, if they work I am going to try and climb higher."

Kraven you see that the path continues on the same as it did before, but maybe with more narrow parts to the climb.
