"…Oh, I don't like this." Gintarou says with a gloomy mood. The ceiling is a bit too low for a giant like him. Though the warrior knows how to walk in buildings made for ordinary humans, but It doesn't make him less uncomfortable here.
Gintarou unhooks his glaive. He takes a torch, tinderbox and rope out of his pack. The young man starts to attach the torch on the butt end of the polearm. Gintarou doesn't know how long the magic light will last and what it will be if something happens to their bard. Better to be prepared. "Hate to say this but I'm not much useful here. I'm really counting on you guys"
"Curious. The crazy old coot said Magnus has been missing just over a month. Why do you think his belongings have already rotted? Wonder if there's something more sinister going on here than we were lead to believe..."
Mist grabs a torch, waves it in a small circle, and mutters something as it ignites (using prestidigitation). He walks to the tunnel, peers in as far as the light reaches, then looks back to the group.
"Well, then. Who's to go first?"
Mist will stay in the center-to-back of the group.
"Excuse me? What's the spaceman?" Gintarou asks Zenix while he tries to light his torch with a tinderbox." I'll be next to the Dwarf cleric. If these fires go out I'm as good as blind."
"Aye, it makes me wonder if we've been privy to the whole truth. But, we're in the thick of it now." Zan draws his sword and recasts his dancing lights as needed. He chuckles. "Afraid of the dark, lad? There's naught here but some dusty old blankets!" But as he says this, he tightens the grip on his hilt.
The sight of the remains of the previous expedition do not raise Tordek's spirit, but he tries to keep his discomfort for himself. He moves in front, his shield and axe raised and prepared for a fight. As he moves, he tries to discern any information about the origin of the ruins ((dwarven racial (history): 14)).
He tries to move quietly, but it is difficult with his armor and weapons: stealth: 4
"I'll take point then," Druquilla announces nocking another arrow. "It would be best for someone who can see without the light to lead." Druquilla then moves to the front of the party going just to the edge of the torchlight so the rest can still see her but the light does not interfere with her darkvision. As she moves forward Druquilla draws an arrow from her quiver and nocks it, her eyes darting around watching for any movement ahead.
"I really hope what's hiding in this darkness is just an old stinky cloth "Gintarou grips his weapon and moves as silently as he can. "…with all these torches and magic light. We are as stealthy as a swarm of fireflies in the starless night"
The Ceilings range from 10-15 feet high, so none of you should have any problems with that.
The routing creates looking like the process is going a little faster than it should but it might have more to do with the complete lack of any protection that any type of magical means.
The reliefs show history, and a few different end of days stories.
You make your way through the tunnel, the tunnel goes in a downward slant. There is a small pile of rock at the end, and then you are in a great chamber. The room has largely succumbed to the passage of time, but glimpses of its magnificence remain. Heaps of earth have pushed through the once strong sandstone walls, but those that stand are decorated by a relief of swirling clouds and shining stars that runs the entire perimeter of the room. The otherwise closely fitted flagstone floor is marred by deep cracks. Most marvelous, however, is the vaulted ceiling that rises to a height of 15 feet. The entire ceiling is painted a deep royal blue, flecked with countless flakes of mica and quartz. When a light source is brought within, the ceiling glints and flickers like stars in the night sky. The room is lined by sarcophagi that hold the remains of important members of the order. The lids of the sarcophagi have all either been leveraged off or smashed open - the handiwork of Magnus’ men.
Investigating the tombs reveals nothing but moldering scraps of cloth and dusty skeletons of the long dead. The bones in each sarcophagus are jumbled and disturbed, since looted by Magnus’ men.
Most of you notice dried mud tracks that crisscross the room. If you are proficient with investigation or nature please make a check. (DC 15)
Though the tracks crisscross the entire room, they appear in greatest number near the hallway with the x drawn on it.
At the top left there are two halls (one being the one with the most amount of tracks), on the right at the top there is a door, and also a door on the right side of the room.
"So let's go that way. No point in going somewhere no one has been at" Zenix looked down the hallway, "I don't sense the presence of traps.. but we need to be double sure."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Kraven Survival: 5
Kraven will signal to the group to remain here while he checks out the room, pretty confident there are no traps but he will check the doors and floor just in case.
Staring at Zenix for a moment, Mist replies, "You know what they say happens when you assume, don't you? The tracks could be a diversion or they could lead to a deadly trap that Magnus' group fell prey to. For all we know, they simply hadn't explored the rest of the place or found the blasted compass yet."
The tracks do not seem to be human and seem to be from a large creature of some type.
The top right door is woodent and not trapped.
The door on the right, This stone door, carved with an ornate pattern of circles, lines and depressions, each with ruins. The door looks like it was meant to be a hidden door, but time has broken away a few things that show it to be a door. With the investigation from Kraven you can tell that there is a spike trap below the door that will activate if the door is opened the wrong way.
Zan's dancing lights waltz around the chamber to the tune of some silent melody. He sends them up to the glittering quartz firmament. "Oooooo. Aaaaaaaah."
Noticing Kraven fiddling with the door, he calls out. "Careful, lad, ye already fell on your noggin once today. Not that anyone's counting."
"Best be keeping eyes to the corridors, all. Some dastardly denizen drifts this decrepit domain. And birdman! Maybe there's a way to subdue those springed spikes so's they won't skewer our sole sneak."
With that, Mist stares down one dark corridor then the other trying to see or hear any sign of something moving.
"Good, Torches, We can actually get some light up in here.." Zenix took a torch, "Now, y'all remember what the space man said again because I don't."

"Lets move ahead cautiously, who knows what lies down here." Aubric will begin to move down the tunnel slowly trying not to make any noises.
