Skarro follows Komos' lead, pondering as he tries another five. "We go back to that other door. The first one that was locked. Try get through. Better than being here." He looks around nervously at the entry hall.
So in the hall you have stairs going up, a passage to the right that you haven't gone down. And the passage to the left where you went and found those 6 doors and later, the managers office.
You have 40 unopened lockers. Currently there isn't any threat that you can see.
Skarro stares at his companions, fingers twitching at the prospect of opening more lockers. The absence of immediate threats emboldens him, but he looks to his companions to see if they have a clear opinion...
Komos sees the look in his friend's eye, grins himself, and starts opening more lockers along with Skarro. It's always better to have a partner in crime.
Tiamat decides to help with the locker opening. There's a lot of them and having more people go through them would make it faster. Most of the lockers were full of junk. It took 30 minutes to actually clear and sort through the contents for anything useful. The party ends up with 5 more coins for a total of 7 coins from all 50 lockers. They also find a Pearl of Power stuffed among the junk.
As the last of the lockers is emptied Skarro looks up. "Time to go!" he says, looking around nervously.
His gaze falls on the passage to the right. "Maybe woman from desk went that way. Didn't go our way. Might be way down."
While his logic does not seem clear, his commitment does. Those with some recollection of the past will also recall that he was certain that attacking the Hunter was a Good Idea (tm).
"Could also go up, but I suppose they're the same to us right now. Let's go, we've wasted too much time here." Varn thought they wanted to get rid of the emperor as soon as possible, so stopping to open lockers was nothing but a waste of time to him.
The party heads through the side passage, the darkness fading as they walk closer and obscuring the reception area they've been in. Here they see a kind of lounge. On the back wall on the right corner, is yet another dark passage. There are comfy looking chairs all over but they reek of filth and tobacco smoke. There is a fireplace on the back wall as well. It is lit. Finally above the left wall, the group notices railings to some balcony.
In one of the seats, is a strange man wearing three worn coats and rocking back and forth. He operates a strange metallic machine where he presses metal tabs with loud clicks and clacks and ink is pressed in a sheet of paper to form letters and words. There's a stack of paper to his left and a stack to his right.
Skarro stares at the machine, at the paper, and at the man. Hand tightly on the hilt of his sheathed sword he moves closer, trying to read the strange script.
The man doesn't react. He keeps typing away at the machine. In the paper, there are lines and lines of words but it is in that old dead language that the hotel's sign was in. Skarro can't read this language.
Let me clarify. The balcony does not look down to some other floor. The balcony looks down on the lounge that the party is currently in. You get to it from some other place on an upper floor.
Skarro barks in frustration. Reading was never his strong suit, people always used too many unnecessary letters. With a last glance around the room he starts down the other passageway.
Skarro continues down the hall but this time, it's clear that it's dark. He sees some light coming from the right corner ahead. Turning the corner, the light source is a fixture on the wall. The passage continues forward until it opens up to a dark room, illuminated only by the light from the passage, casting dark shadows on the walls of the room. The room has two metal doors on the back wall. The doors are strange. They don't seem to have any handles or knobs or any way really to open them. Next to each of the door are two buttons on a metal plate. On the right end of the back wall is another small passage that only goes 5ft before turning to the left. Near either walls of the room are comfy looking but old couches and chairs for people to sit in. There's a coffee table on the left set of chairs.
Komos goes around the counter and tries to open the lockers, also looking for a bell to call the reception back. ((lock pick if needed 20))

Komos manages to open the lockers. There are many lockers... around 50. How many does Komos open?
And yes there is a bell to call the receptionist back on the table.
Komos opens 5 randomly while the others decide their plan.

Between the 10 lockers that were opened, some were empty and some had those strange coins. You found 3 Coins from opening 10 lockers.
"Shiny good! But Glory needs says dangerous. Let's go!" Skarro seems genuinely torn by the prospect of more coins, but dying is not a good outcome.

What do you guys want to do as a group?

Hoping for a way down, Skarro moves to the balcony taking in whatever vista it might reveal.

Skarro stares suspiciously at the obvious mechanical device and looks at Komos, trusting his expertise in that area,
