"I don't like it. If the monsters we beat truly do disappear, we'll never best Arix." Varn says before something else strikes him. "Hold on. The monsters disappeared, but so did our blood? I know my blood doesn't disappear on its own. Could somebody have cleaned it during our rest?" Seeing Sniv investigating the walls, it occurs to him that they should be broken. "And... fixed the walls? They couldn't have done it this fast." In a moment of impulsivity, Varn draws one of his daggers and touches the edge of the blade with one of his fingers, creating a tiny wound. Almost unfelt, but a wound that at allows a drop of blood to form. He walks to one of the walls and smears a small, red line on it. "Let us continue, and see if this line disappears by the time we get back. If it does... perhaps we can reapeat the action and ambush whoever is cleaning?"
Varn paints the walls with a bit of blood. Sniv heads into the main part of the restaurant. Unlike how neat and tidy the inn was, something is off about the restaurant. Though there are no signs of damage or struggle like there was in the smithy, a lot of the tables have their chairs pulled back like how one would in order to sit on them. These tables also have plates of food and bowls of soup on them. Some of the food is untouched but clearly cold and at least a day old, though they haven't rotted yet. Some of the foods are half eaten. Finally there are empty plates that have grease and sauce stains on them, as if nobody had cleaned the thing after using them.
Sniv nods at Varn's idea and beams a little as he watches the little kobold come up with something so clever. Upon entering the main part of the restaurant, he creeps around the area taking a closer look at all of the food that was left on the plates to perhaps see what kind of food the restaurant was serving to ascertain its quality. He also glances around the room, looking for any other exits or further avenues for exploration.

Sniv looks through the food. It looks like normal food such as stakes, soups, sandwiches etc. Some of the bowls or soup have the same coloring as the stains on the soup pot that was in the kitchen and the soup you all saw in that flashback.
I should mention that from one side of the restaurant are stairs leading up.
As Komos is about to head upstairs he feels like something glinted from the corner of his eye. When he turns back he sees nothing. Did he miss something on the ground floor or was it the strange situation getting to him?
Sniv will follow Komos upstairs unless the younger kobold says something about the glint that he noticed. Either way, he draws upon more of nature's help and bestows it to the tinkerer for safety's sake.

Komos blinks and does a double-take, looking back. "Did you see that?... ah nevermind. My eyes are playing tricks on me," he says, as they head towards the stairs.
Heading up stairs, you find that it is a long hallway. The walls and floors are done in very fine wood. There are two doors on either side of the hall with the last door to the left being left open.
Sniv sniffs the air a little as the kobolds head up the stairs and peers into the hallway at the top. Seeing that one of the doors is open, he motions for one of the other kobolds to take a peek and make sure there wasn't anything planning on eating them in that room. Sniv will bestow nature's blessing on whichever of the other two kobolds is bold enough to venture forth.

Varn nods. As the leader, he needs to lead the others. The logic was quite simple, was it not? He steps forward, as silently as he can, and tries to peek through the open door.

The room that was open was a bedroom. There was a single double bed on the right side of the room with a window beside it. There was a small closet on the left wall which contained both male and female clothes. On the back wall of the room was a dresser as well. The interesting thing about the room though is that everything looked like a mess. Photos were knocked over from the top of a dresser. The dresser's drawers were removed and scattered across the floor along with any clothes they contained. The bed was a mess. A pillow was torn in half and its remains were scattered on the floor. There didn't appear to be any hostiles in this room though.
"Clear." Varn says, and walks inside. Once the other two follow, he asks them: "What do you think happened here? Was one of the monsters here? Was it the one we fought before?"

Sniv follows Varn in after he clears the room, and notices the clear mess. When Varn starts inquiring about what happened here, Sniv just shrugs and replies, "I'm not sure, but even though it didn't look like that creature was too intelligent, it was at least able to sense prey. Why would it be tearing this room apart if there wasn't something to kill? Was it looking for something else?" As he says this, Sniv starts looking around the room for anything that stands out.
Strangely, there are no repair marks on the wall. It's like the wall was never broken in the first place.
Does Komos and Varn do anything?
Astonished at what's happening, and not really sure what to think, Komos follows Sniv into the restaurant.

(Hopefully, he won't take any damage from that.)

Other than the very chaotic mess that is this room, Sniv doesn't detect anything that stands out particularly in this chaos.
