Skarro grins as the magic flies, then dances around the Hunter, taunting it and hoping to keep it distracted.

With Skarro's magic having run out, he is unable to avoid the Hunter's deadly swing. A deep bleeding cut is created on Skarro's chest. Blood oozes out of the hole in the kobold's armor.
In spite of his best efforts to keep up defenses, Skarro is getting absolutely destroyed by the Hunter. Varn's spell flies off wide, missing the Hunter. While Komos' pellet was well aimed, the Hunter swats it away with its tentacle.
Exhausted Varn barely has any energy to expend. And with the Hunter parrying even Komos' magical pellets, wasting any more energy on attacks would be pointless. "Parry this you filthy monster!" He screams, sending a disorienting shock to the Hunter's mind. He seemed to quuck to pin down with fire, but perhaps his mind would be more vulnerable than his body.
The Hunter must succeed on a DC 15 Intelligence save or take 11 psychic damage and have a 1 penalty to his next save before the end of Varn's next turn.
Zorn climbs the tree but when he gets close to where he can have a clear shot of the hole, he is met with the form of the Hunter, waiting for him to climb. For the first time he lays eyes on the elusive Hunter. Its think skin drapes around it like a long cloak. Tentacle like yellow vines extend from the bottom of its body. On its head is a thorny crown made of bramble that is adorned with leaves and berries. Its skin looks like it was made by stitching together various different beasts. A tiger's paw hangs limply here, a deer hoof there, a fox tail there. Its head is a bony skull of no one creature but a horrific amalgamation of various different beasts. Deer skulls with antlers that stick out haphazardly, a crocodile's snout protruding from a side only to morph into the top of a bear head. In seemingly random parts of the skull are eye sockets that hold bloodshot tired eyes. The eye lack eyelids but they stare in the same direction, focusing the Hunter's vision on its prey. The eyes also seem to belong to different beings, some human, some big cats, some from deers and horses. In the Hunter's hand is a strange weapon. It looks almost like a crossbow but it instead has a rusty metal tube coming out from its wooden body. Its hands are thin and shriveled but distinctly humanoid rather than animal. Mushrooms and bark grow around the hands, as if the creature had spent decades just tightly gripping its weapon without letting it go.
Before the pain of getting hit in the chest by the Hunter's metal projectile takes hold of him, the last thing Zorn sees is a bright flash from the dark abyss of the Hunter's barrel and then the deafening boom
Zorn roll a STR save DC16 or you fall out of the tree and take 1 Fall damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We almost have him!" Skarro's eyes glare at the Hunter, though there is a fear lurking at the back of them. He knows he might die, but it would be a glorious death.
Much as he wants to retreat, that is not why the goddess chose him to be her holy warrior. He has a destiny to show kobold-kind what they might be, and what they can be, not just what they have been.
The last barrage of attacks strike true. The Hunter lets out a demonic scream that seemed like the howls of a hundred damned souls. Blue flames engulf it and the Hutner's skin begins to melt, leaving bones and then even those slowly turn to ash. When all's said and done, the Hunter is no more. There is just a large pile of ash. There doesn't seem to be any coins however but something gleams in the pile. There is a child's slingshot buried in the ash.
Also everyone got 14,000 XP (I added it to the sheet already)
"It's dead?" Varn asks in disbelief, walking forward, to poke the ash, as if expecting something to rise out of it. "It's dead!" He declares triumphantly. "We brought down the emperor's pet!" Varn nearly collapses on the floor with the feeling of relief washing over him, but he fights it to remain standing. "We should find the Goddess and tell her! Then... maybe we can rest for a bit."
Komos goes up to what is left of the Hunter and pokes at it with a stick, and then says, “We are one step closer to freeing this land. And yes, a rest would be good before we continue.”

I described the Hunter here.
(( @DM: I meant, after the damage they have taken -- how wounded do they look? ))
Oh. They look gravely wounded.
