“Yes, she is.” The doormaid looks over you all for a very uncomfortable moment, then smiles in a way that makes you feel REALLY uncomfortable. “Right this way, please.” She gestures inside to a waiting area with tables and chairs.
When anyone arrives in the room to greet us, Bors will focus on them with divine sense.
The presence of strong evil registers on your senses like a noxious odor, and powerful good rings like heavenly music in your ears. As an action, you can open your awareness to detect such forces. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity (the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, for instance). Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the hallow spell.
Briella and the animals will follow ensue. She will stand though not comfortable with the thought of sitting when evil beings are nearby. The two animals will flank her for protection.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Excuse me, let me introduce myself properly, my name is Briella and I am a Cleric of the Ehlonna, goddess of the woodlands. These two animals are my charges, gifted to me by the goddess herself, and as such must remain with me at all times as I see them through this land. If this is truly is a problem for your master then I will move them, as well as myself, outside but I must insist that they stay near me."
(I'm trying to get her to let me keep them. So i'm assuming a persuasion roll might be needed. Persuasion: 20)
(With a roll like that you could've brought in an undead posse....IF I HAD ONE!)
Grishkar enters and admires the depressing atmosphere, the pervasive air of impending decline into ruin.

You wait in the waiting room for a few moments before the maid returns again. You are led to a large dining room where, at the very end of the table, seated, is Fiona Wachter.
“Welcome, guests.” She says. “I am Fiona Wachter, Lady of the house. Please, sit down.” There are tablesettings at each seat, and the whole room throbs with a shadowy evil tinge. You detect undead on this floor everywhere, its difficult to pinpoint where exactly. The whole house seems to radiate a feeling that makes you all uncomfortable. Despite all that, you detect one non-evil anomaly upstairs.
”My spies have been following you since you got here. So, tell me, what exactly are you intentions here in this town?”
Kia your nerves are on fire, this whole house gives off an unsettling feeling and you find it hard not to fidget. Bors there are undead and demons in the immediate area. Imryll your detection of undead is like that moment in Aliens when they are in the tunnels looking at their scanner and there are blips everywhere. Beep. Beep. Beep.
Fiona awaits an answer. She looks strangely calm, and unhostile. If thats a word.
“Good evening, madame. Thank you for honoring us with an audience this evening. Your spies are not necessary, as we mean you no harm. We are but adventurers, on our way though your vibrant town, merely stopping to reprovision. We don’t plan on staying long, and plan to leave once we are rested and recuperated. That is, if the Burgomaster will let us leave. He seems to control this town with an iron fist, and doesn’t appear to take kindly to strangers.”
"No, he does not." She says, just thinking about the Burgomaster makes her sneer. "But as you said, you are adventurers. Which begs the question. Why are you here? What is your purpose? What....are your intentions."
“Well, you see, Madam, we are travelling holy people. We have been going from town to town doing our best to help people and heal afflictions. We usually like to observe the towns so that we can best know where we’re needed. Would you happen to know of anyone in need of divine healing?”

"Hello, my name is Bors, is the Lady of the house available? I'd like to ask her some questions."
“Yes, she is.” The doormaid looks over you all for a very uncomfortable moment, then smiles in a way that makes you feel REALLY uncomfortable. “Right this way, please.” She gestures inside to a waiting area with tables and chairs.
Bors glances to his companions then follows the servant inside.
Martha follows Bors inside and takes a seat, not wanting to tip their hand too much.

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?

Kia's tail is twitching madly. Imryll's attempt to deflect does not make her calmer. Martha or Bors better speak up before Kia puts her paws in it. :)
