Brenvull seems unsure what to do with such a foul creature in the shrine. "I'm not sure what to do, but I would rather not wake it up without damaging it a lot while doing that. Or does someone think they can talk sense into it"
(OOC: Is this the demonlord/prince of demons Demogorgon or something more in our fighting range? 😅)
"Do we really gotta engage it, though?" Lostur asks the others under his breath. "Ain't most of these shrines been puzzles, one way or the other? Maybe there's some clever way to get him outta there that doesn't involve charging in head first. Anybody got one of those spectral hand thingies that could take his club away while he's snorin', for starters?"
Lostur turns his attention away from the sleeping demogorgon, and instead looks at the spirits, trying to understand just what it is they're trying to communicate.
Insight: 1 Perception: 9
(... Lostur, my head hurts when I look at you, LOL)
"Most of these Shrines have been trapped in some way. What we do not want is one of us somehow isolated with this beast." Lorvax growls before adding, "That said, you are right Lostur - I would rather not engage directly with an enemy which we know nothing about."
Lostur crosses his arms. "Who's sneaky and can get that club? I got this armor that won't help much, but if no one else is gonna try, well, I'm gonna give it a shot," he says resolutely.
Kray peaks around the corner trying to remember anything she could have ever learnt or read about such creatures while the others ponder their options. She is not stealthy, not at all. ( Arcana if possible: 22 )
Kray and Brenvull you do not have a scoobydoo. It looks like a very mean two headed giant.
As you all debate the next course of action one of the heads gives a violent snort and the other growls something unintelligible. A moment passes and the snoring continues.
Lostur sighs, never the most patient of fellows, and waves his hand. He disappears in a flash of misty step and reappears right next to the creature, grabbing the club. Once it's in his hands, he grabs his yklwa and tries to hit the thing twice. Once he's done that, he turns around and runs, taking the club with him. "I think it's awake now!" he tells the others as he runs towards them.
(Sleeping if I understand correctly means unconscious, prone, adv on attack, and automatic critical, and it has disadvantage to attack Lostur if it wakes up)
You stand for a moment in shock as Lostur performs his ballsy move. The huge creature roars in anger as the blows strike it, but the moment it remains dazed and confused as it tries to clamber to its feet.
Lostur keeps hobbling towards the others, pausing for a moment to pull up his armor of agathys before continuing the slow and painful drag towards the entrance of the shrine. "Anytime you wanna help out," he pants at his companions, struggling with the huge morningstar. Almost as an afterthought, he turns around and glares at the demogorgon. "Damn, son. That's some pretty bad morning breath," he growls, putting his special hexblade curse on it.

Lorvax this is not a fey, fiend, or undead. Other than that there is little you can discern about it.
Lostur you perceive that this thing is massive and guess that it will probably be pissed if you wake it.
Brenvull... while sharing many features with the demonlord/prince of demons Demogorgon I can assure you that this one is bite size.. kind of :)

I would also want to try the information roll: 13 (+3 if religion or history).
((OOC: Good to know it's not the one I once ran into in OotA :P))

Lostur you are up!
Initiative order :
DM - Warlock of Firetop Mountain
Lostur keeps hobbling towards the others, pausing for a moment to pull up his armor of agathys before continuing the slow and painful drag towards the entrance of the shrine. "Anytime you wanna help out," he pants at his companions, struggling with the huge morningstar. Almost as an afterthought, he turns around and glares at the demogorgon. "Damn, son. (AoA would do 15 cold damage if Lostur gets hit)
Lorvax, hurriedly preparing himself for battle, gives Lostur an exasperated look. "A word of forewarning might have helped." he growls.
DM - The Call of Strahd (CoS); Feyrealm Campaign, Chapter 0 - Bleak Prospect (BP), Chapter 1 - Destination Unknown (DU)
"Forewarning requires forethinking. That isn't my style!" Lostur huffs as he hobbles along.
