Elyona positions herself in the turn style device. She’ll try to move it, but I’m assuming it won’t budge again. If that is the case, she will say to Tommary and Toots, “try that again and I’ll see if I can get through.” she will hold her battle axe at the ready.

“HUZZAH!! It worked. Great thinking Tommary. Now we can start getting…. Wait a minute….” The beginning of a mildly concerned look starts to cross Toots’ face.
“Has this occurred to anyone else? If Tommary and I need to fiddle with these things to make them go one by one we’ll be able to get Oethe and Hwksly through after Ely… but then how are we supposed to go through after them…?” She says that last part gesturing back and forth between Tommary and herself.
"I think one of us should cross over to the other side and open up the slots there while Hawks or Oethe partner with the remaining tool tender here." Then when whoever's left here is done the partner on the other side can work with the new protege to get the last person across. Or we train your pets"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“They’re not my ‘pets,’ they’re my friends. And how would they use the tools Tommary, they don’t have any thumbs…?” Toots rolls her eyes at him. “Of course, you’re all thumbs and you still manage somehow….” She shrugs, trying her best to maintain a poker face. [use whichever is appropriate: (Deception: 8), (Performance: 20), (Persuasion: 11)] “Besides, we don’t even know if there are any slots in there, Ely hasn’t told us yet…?!? How ‘bout it Ely, see anything?”

Both Deception and Persuasion were natural 1s, so being a Lucky li’l Halfling, she’ll do those again: (Deception 16), (Persuasion: 11)
OOC: I'm figuring in this instance we have tools to get beyond the blunt bulk of our thumbs and hands. The sort of ransacking and blind rooting around we're doing in the contraption is more like rodent type ingenuity than any refined skill :)
"Maybe you can use that magic hand of yours to fiddle them along these wired things."
"Yes, there are slots on this side. And my sword is making insulting comments about my family again....so it would probably be a good idea to have a few more of you over here."

“Nahh…. I know a guy back in Cliffside who can do that though, but I never got the knack for that.”
OOC: That’s an Arcane Trickster thing as part of their Mage Hand Legerdemain feature, nobody else can use Mage Hand that way, not that I know of.
Having heard Elyona’s comment Toots says to Tommary: “Okay, then, since Oethe is likely best with this sort of thing I say we send him in next to help on that side and help Ely if she’s in a pickle, and then we gotta figure out which one of us” she gestures between Tommary and herself again “goes in next to work it from the inside. ‘Bolder, Parchment, Sheers’ to see which of us goes in first? Best of three?”
"Maybe we roll the bones of fate to decide...instead of the child's play" Tommary says with a wink.
OOC: Gambler background and dice proficient. Also don't know how to rochambeau on the board, so maybe the dice roller if we want to mini game this, let the DM decide if my proficiency gives me an edge.

OOC: We could each send the DM a PM (😂😂) containing our first “throw” of Boulder, Parchment, or Sheers. Then Wysperra could quote them both and copy/paste our messages into a post here to make sure we’re both playing honest.

Tommary will endeavor to do exactly what he just did in collaboration with Toots to get the door to do its thing with Elyona in the rotator.

The panels rotate on the central axis and push Elyona to the other side of the cylinder.

OOC: Yes, sound passes though with no problem.
You also notice the same silver plated slots on the left and right on your side.

To Tommary: “Even if she does…” turning to the others in turn: “…do any of you know how to fiddle with stuff like this?”
OOC: I read Wysperra’s reply to ArwensDaughter, but Toots didn’t.
