OOC: Had a bit of a breather, so I thought I'd chime back in: Is there a handle on this one? if so Elyona will say, "Who wants to help me try to get it open?"
If there is no handle, she will say, "Shall I try a repeat of the last door?" If the party agrees, she'll use the ram again: 33

*BWAMMNNGG!* The door splinters around the metal bands and slams open. It didn't seem to need as much effort to open and the space is much warmer.
Ahead of you nearly 20 feet away is....
Another door.
This one is either made of or completely banded in iron with fat rivets. There is no handle. It is warm to the touch.
A scraping sound behind you gets the party's attention. The first door looks like it is slowly trying to close itself.

Toots quickly casts thaumaturgy to slam the door open. “Nine, quick! Stop that door!”

After the ram splintered a second door while Ilyara was raising a hand to recommend caution, the hand instead found its way to the furling's face. "This ain't workin'," she said. "Let's back up, get back out. Not like we can't bull our way through again if we need to, but I ain't fixin' to get trapped here in an endless passageway of trappy doors."
"Yeah, I frankly liked the talky weird of the goblins more than this quiet Kubrick weird halls and door with the Cronenberg breath heat ... and I hated those goblin guys almost drove me up the wall. Go back to the Layla junction and take the last hall we haven't taken? Let's get out before we get smart too far."
OOC: high fives to whoever sees what I did there.

OOC: Corridor of doors opening and then the doors closing behind us was a Get Smart reference, followed by Sposta and I dropping catch phrases. Prior sentence Kubrick's films are really good at unsettling spaces, particularly corridors/passages (see The Shining). Since it's humid and breathing, I riffed Cronenberg since he was doing stuff like applying body horror principles to inanimate objects before body horror was even a genre term (like the TV sets and VCR in Videodrome, skip that one unless you dig disturbing movies).

The party makes its way past the goblins, and into Henry's room. If you didn't know better it looks like a large room, but you do know better and keep to the edges away from the 30 foot deep pool in the center. Ilyara notices a few delta shaped ripples on the surface but none come close enough to clearly confirm what they are.
The walk back to Layla is uneventful, the warm scummy water almost feels like home (not really). When you get closer, you hear her shout "Incorrect!" followed by a splash and slaps of stone on flesh.
"Ah hello Tom of the Shadows! Don't mind the mess." she smiles at you as you take in the scene of red colored water and a scrap of bloody harness hanging from her mouth.

OOC: We can slow our roll for a day, let people catch up. I feel bad for how often the game skips Arwen anyways.

The iron bound door taunts you with its metal studs and planks of oak. It sits there waiting patiently...

OOC: I think I recognize Sposta’s reference, but MidnightPlat’s flew right over my head, so no high fives for me, I’m afraid.
