I have no issue with Sposta's loot assignment, though Ilyara would Frowny Fox at putting the robe on 9. "Just stuff it in the bag and wait until we find a good use for it, maybe?", most likely. Beyond that, she offers no objections, and Rei doesn't object to anything either. Also somebody cast Lesser Restoration on Tommary, he appears to be drunk. Hueh.
OOC: That’s the exact thing I was hoping to avoid by asking for everyone to vote. 😞 I didn’t want anyone to feel like I had “assigned” anything to anyone, I really ain’t like that. I’m sorry if it came across that way. I mostly just agreed with the rest of you and confirmed to Regis Wysp that it was my “final answer” is all.
“Alright, I’ll stick that robe in The Bag for now, if anyone ever wants it just say so. It’s pro’ly a li’l too small for 9 anyway.”
After taking some time while Tommary worked out the rest of the items and had a philosophical debate with Toots about the nature of consciousness, conscience, and how both could be compared to sentient crickets to attune to her new toy (DM willing), Ilyara turned back to Elyona. "Oiy, you wanted somebody with some sneak in their freak to go check that door, eh? I can go. Might take those two a while, after all," she said, grinning as she flicked a thumb back at the other Waywatchers. Padding quietly up to the ironbound door, she first of all opted to give it a once-over and see if any unpleasant nastiness mechanical or arcane was ready to blow up anyone who tried to muck with it. If such nastiness didn't present itself, she'd press one fuzzy pointy ear up against the door and listen as carefully as she could through it for any sign of dungeon denizens displeased by the delvers' discussions and divvying of their dearly desired dope drops.
{Stealth for not being picked up being all sneakypaws by anything ready to burst through the door and swallow her whole: 30 Sneakyfeets.} {Investigation(??) for TrapFinder 9000. I know some DMs run that as Perception; if so, bolt a +4 onto this to make up the difference: 18 Inves.} {And Perception to do the listening-at-the-door thing, if ye didn't want to use her passive score for stuff like that: 7 Percep}
”Here, lemme come with and help you. Before we found you, Tom’ry and I used to have to do most of this stuff, so it’s nice to have someone who can help rotate things for a change.” *wispering* “Besides, he’s always doing combat rolls from cover to cover for stuff like this, I think he saw it in those archives he’s always on about. At least we finally got him to keep his shirt on when he does it now.” Toots rolls her eyes as she finishes speaking.
Ilyara inspects the door carefully and it appears identical to the other doors in this place except for the lack of boring worms. There doesn't seem to be any wires or pressure plates on or near it.
When she leans against the door to give it a listen, she discovers that it swings open very easily! She stumbles into a room that is 20 feet deep and very wide.
Just to her right is a pit filled with spikes! She has a split second of relief as she realizes that she will land short of it. Then is immediately dismayed as the floor slips out from under her. She cannot grip the ground at all and she begins to scramble madly with her front paws!
Maybe somebody can grab her before she slides to her doom!
"YEEK! No! Back off, Toots!" Ilyara yelped as she scrabbled at the stones, sliding inexorably towards the pit. Her hands flashed down to the immovable rod hanging off her belt, grabbing at it with both hands and clicking it on without detaching it from her belt first, halting her descent into madness evil pointy murder spikes.
"Confounded liver-sucking egg-chucking outhouse-dwelling old-people-smelling rutabaga-stewing toenail-pickling...!" The stream of invective went on for another thirty or forty seconds before Ilyara finally finished with "...whoever built this stinking murderous rock heap can catch the clap and ITCH TO DEATH!"
“Oh no!! ILY!! Oh wait….” *whew* “You scared me for a second there. Here, lemme throw you a line.” Toots pulls her coiled silk rope from her pack and looks about for a way to anchor it. She considers the iron spikes in one of her pouches, but without a hammer she has no way to drive them in. She considers asking if anyone has a hammer when a simpler solution occurs to her. “Hey 9, could you please come here, Ily needs help. Could you please hold this rope and help haul her up?”
You notice the stonework of the walls, floor, and ceiling in the hall have a sheen like finely polished zurkhwood similar to the Transport Sphere in Lord Ironhammer's hall.

OOC: If you pretend I have heard of neither “zurkhwood” nor “Lord Ironhammer,” and that I’m assuming a “Transport Sphere” is something akin to a teleportation circle, you won’t really be pretending.
"Y'know, I'm real happy I got this thing, but if I could stop having to cling to it like a rat clinging to driftwood after a shipwreck for just, like...one whole day, that'd be great," Ilyara grumbled, taking firm hold of Toots' rope. She wrapped it several times around her forearm and wrist before daring to deactivate the rod. "Okay, go ahead and have Nine reel me back out," she yelled once she was properly secure, not trusting her footing on this super slick and slippery flooring.
Once she was back to somewhere she was able to stand up without worry again, she brushed herself off and called back down to Tommary and Elyona, "So yeah! Totally trapped! Just not in any of the usual ways a girl'd be expectin'! Whoever built this damned place sucks!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Toots replies, with the absolute most deadpan and sincere look and tone she can possibly manage.* “Well, I suppose you didn’t have to cling to it.” Pausing, Toots very deliberately blinks twice. “I mean, you could’a say on it like a toy horse, it’s got the horse head and everything.”

OOC: As the residents of Cliffside had previously been locked underground for hundreds of years, for the most part they are only familiar with fungus wood from the giant zurkhwood mushrooms. Lord Ironhammer is the current lord and master of the Ironhammer clan, the rulers of Cliffside. Yes, the Transport Sphere is similar to a teleportation circle but made from the wood of a Sentinel Tree (Elven wood).

Tommary, finishes grooving in his head and peaks at the scene, and sees a fancy floor and fancy wood and two gutters and pauses ... (OOC: because is that game with the 9 pins and the ball a thing in Cliffside?)

Or a flattened ball and two sticks for a goal (ulu maika).
Or stone balls on a playing field with holes in the corners (billiards with melon sized balls).

OOC: Trying to get our bearings so this may be redundant, Ilyra sort of slipped through the door on the upper right of the spikey pitted room. The strip of flooring south of that door along the pit either mechanically "drops" "slants" "cants" or deceives someone into taking a step onto a slant? Cuz I think I see two shafts ... wait ARE THESE THE EXHAUST PORTS TO BRING THE WHOLE FULLY OPERATIONAL DUNGEON DOWN? Tommary does have a bomb he can drop with his eyes closed (coincidentally had just been reading a SWRPG reddit where someone wanted to know if they just dead dropped a missile without any launch ignition onto a target whether that would detonate the munition as designed.... I was surprised how polite the redditors were with the question, including someone with some occupational experience with launched explosive munitions).

OOC: The door is very loose not like the other doors in the dungeon. Pressing on it makes it swing open easily, it closes on its own.
The floors are very slightly canted towards the pits (maybe 10-15 degrees). There is no spring or drop. Ilyara just could not get any kind of grip on the floor. Due to similar appearance, you would guess that the walls and ceiling are the same no grip surfaces.
OOC: Oh no! Don't **** up, fox!
