Ah hahaha! I hadn’t refreshed the page and didn’t realize you had even rolled for that until now.

The pathway seems mostly safe, but the lava is an obvious fatal feature. There are sections along the way which are higher or lower than others but all are safely above the river of fire. You are currently 15 feet above the lava.

OOC: (in the stream of consciousness of Tommary) yeah yeah, river of molten fire, ok, the big glowing orb, is that within reach from the bridge or is the bridge like one of the Disney rides so the orb is just out of reach?

 It is at the end of the bridge, 5 feet off the ground, above what looks like solid rock, not lava.

Both swords give mild warnings but it is obvious their concern is the lava.

Tommary draws Windbreaker and points it down bridge to the glowing orb.  He seethes an inhale and then hisses, "Leeroooyyyyyyy....  Just kidding.  We all want to brave the bridge together or have me or one of us scout it or at least do a test walk to the orb?  Speaking of I think I was getting a little fixated on the route to the orb, let me poke my head through here to see if there's anything more to this cavern we should be aware of besides river of molten fire and a bridge that should do the work of getting us to the orb."  Perception 21

 Tommary notices an anomaly in the lava flow at about the midpoint of the cavern, as if there was something moving below the flow. 

How far from Tommary's vantage in the doorway to the lurking anomaly in the flow?  He points Wind Breaker in its general direction and says "Avast!  Something Lurks!"

 About 50-70 feet.

“Hunh?”

Tommary points, "There!  There's something in the lava.  I was going to shoot an arrow at it, but I don't know if the arrow would survive the lava to strike it.  So do we magically meddle with it from a distance before I we seize the orb, or do I got out there a bit further to see if I can provoke it?"

OOC: That's supposed to a strikethrough the I before we ... the orb is like a bug light and Tommary is a knowing but compelled moth.

“Don’t worry Tom’ry, I gotcha covered.” Toots steps forward about 25 feet onto the bridge and calls out: “Huloo…! Creature in the molten hot magma, how are you?”

"She's going out there without a rope!"

Toots messages: “Huloo…?”

The lava bubbles and stirs.

You see a distinct wake from something moving towards the bridge in Toots' direction.

“Huloo…?”

More than a foot of lava blocked the first message.

After moving, the lava is thinner.

The reply is more emotion/thought than clear language.
