You see some of the edge break away and fall into the lava river. Some cracks begin to form in the middle of the span as well.

And Ilyara darts off at best speed for the door.  because to Gehenna with falling into a Gehenna lava sea.

“Huzzah! Oh fudge (of course, I didn’t say ‘fudge’)…. Darn these short little legs! RUNRUNRUNRUNRUN!!! Ely c’mon! Youse two too tall an’ taller, move yer boots an’ get a wiggle on.”

The party makes it through the three sequential self closing doors and is once again in the dark, steaming, swamp stink corridors of the mountain.

• IC: “Whew. I never thought I’d be so glad to be back in these tunnels again.” Toots begins to clean the sweat and grime of combat from herself and anyone else who wants to freshen up. “How are you two little ones?” She asks Star & Pipkin “And you Mece? Are you okay?”

"OW! But that was kinda nifty,"  Tommary says hefting Stormwalker before putting it back into his sheath across Windbreaker.  

OOC: Could probably afford a short rest to get back over 50%

OOC: Wanna go visit Fritz and the gang for the shortie? I kinda wanna go give ‘em their silver back, and the extra crossbows and blankets we don’t need. I feel kinda bad about it since we’re loaded with cash and gems and they fold and unarmed and flat broke. (And we killed the guy who fed them.) Besides, they might have more of those trippy shrooms they offered to sell us. 😉

 Then we can check Henry’s drain first on our way to Z Top and flush and wherever else we might wanna check. Yeah? Nah? Meby?

PS- IC: “Yeah it was.”

OOC: not sure why that was necessarily in OOC.  I could totally see Toots orientating herself to our "friends" as precursor before we go to the points we've ID'd.  OCC2: we also turned their wonderwheel light spectacular into a literally flaming shitshow tube.

"Anyway, I'm beat, what d'ya say we take Rosso here to meet Fritz and his crew.  Maybe we're making a dent here and they'll have some fresh info on this place's latest marching orders.. Maybe they'll even have some aloe.  I mean Ilyra's magical lanolin words definitely helped me get out of there, but that more got my heart beating and blood pumping ... I need salves that sooth to get my complexion back ready for The Show."

You get back to the rotating cylinder and find that it is not rotating and still has an...interesting odor. 

A voice calls out "Hey! Who are you and what do you!?"

Tommary the Returning Unworthy takes some cover outside the tube and calls out "Ezekial 25:17 is coming back in, Fritz still around or are you a whole new shift?  We're here to parlay not lay anyone low."

“And we brought cookies.” Toots calls out from behind Tommary. She whispers to Tommary: “what stoner doesn’t want cookies?”

OOC:  By the way, magic cookie plate… new favorite magic item. Wants one. Wants one so hard you have no idea. 

"Do we have cookies?  Do you want me to lie to them?  I thought we were gonna deal with this crew straight this time?" Tommary whispers back.
