“Ily, what is this large dwarf with the very big axe saying to me?” Toots asks with a smile plastered on her face. “And where the hells did he come from down here?”

"He says th' food's great, best he's had in a long time," Ilyara translated, turning to face the others.  "Askin' how we came t' be in his 'forest', and says we're heaps friendlier than th' usual sorts.  Says most folk who fall down here're real angry, which frankly I can kinna understand."

She turned back to Adukas, spinning up the ol' Pyntsyzhe to respond.  "We're looking for special artyfax, stolen from our Back-Home.  An XXXX, and a YYYY," she said, clearly using actual words and not stand-in symbol strings because her idiot player forgot what, specifically, they'd been sent to find.  "We needs them or we'll get spanakopita'd by our bosses.  Have you seens anything like that?"

OOC: Mmmmm… spanakopita….

"You are seeking the XX and YY Axes? They are ancient weapons of my people, being long lost. It is being ironic because if you have the XX and YY Axes you cannot get lost!"

"Cannot be standing about all day, need to be cutting the woods!" Adukas shouts as he bows to you. "I am chopping that way, blessings on you for the food and drinks!" he points with a thick thumb, then waves as he starts to walk away.

"Wait!" Tommary the Unworthy but Absent Mindedly Inquisitive ... Like if Edward Norton Played Columbo, asks through Ilyra's interpretation, "Who are you tending this forrest for, and if you're doing it of your own accord, why?"

"Is being good place to be. Trees," he gestures towards the overlarge mushrooms "I growing good and big, easy to cut and being easy to sell."

"Sell?  Huh.  Selling to who, if I can be making the question?"

"Not the bees!" Tommary the Unworthy cringes, then opines, "Well, Shroomcutter specifically said the Frogfolks deal in a stanky currency.  Maybe we should parlay with the webweavers for a cleaner deal?"

The short bearded figure, goes off into the forest to look for trees to cut leaving you on the banks of the pond.
