OOC: I am completely lost about eighty percent of the time Tommary says anything, so you're in good company.  Apparently I have watched even fewer movies than I thought I have.

OOC: Yeah, even I’m drawing a relative blank. I mean, something about an oversized oyster fork seems vaguely familiar somehow, but I honestly can’t say why or from where. Family Guy maybe? SNL?

Wysp said something about three blades on what I thought was a spear so I thought I wasn't paying attention and maybe they were tines.  

And I'd totally buy the spiders treat pumpkins like oysters, gross oysters, but I could see it.

There was an old MTV sketch comedy show called the State which had this awesome gag one episode about forks that reach an absurd climax, don't know if it's out there on the tame internet or not.

OOC: Best I can come up with is a riff on the ROUS from Princess Bride, but I'm almost entirely certain that ain't it.  Either way though, looks an awwwwful lot like we just found Wave.  Sorta.  Mebbe.  Remind me, it's been a bit: we found all of Cliffside's treasures, but the elves wanted Wave, Whelm, and Blackrazor, ne?  or at least what they described to the Waywatcher team as what we-the-players know are Wave, Whelm and Blackrazor?

Tommary looks down upon the sputtering spear and notices the sparking door slide open.

Two large clockwerks or golems with thick cylindrical bodies and tube like arms carry a box out of the door and proceed to walk forward.

“Well, I guess you won’t have time to figure out what that thing does yet” Toots says to Tommary, indicating the spear. “I wonder if those two are gonna be friendly like Layla and the goblins, or try to kill us like everything else in this damned mountain.”

"What's in the box!!!!"

Toots steps forward and begins introducing herself to their new visitors. “Hello, my name’s Toots and theses here are my friends. We’re in this mountain trying to find some stuff what got lost a while ago. How do you do?”

The golems/automatons ignore Toots then proceed back towards the sparking door.

Looking at the box, it seems to be made of a seamless grey ivory or marble about 5 by 5 feet and around 3 feet high. On the top there is a white plate with a red circle in the middle.

“What’s this?” Toots settles in to ritually cast detect magic.
