edit: Sposta, are you still maintaining the community chest with Toots holding the bag?  I haven't added it to my own coin, but have noted the 22sp 19gp and 15pp Tommary trawled off the scorp sand.  Toots would likely prestidigistate them, and Tommary's gloves when he delivers them to her.

Toots will absolutely prestidigitate them and his gloves and add them to the ongoing tally.

Tommary is going to secure not 1 but 4 lines from this terrace into the not aquamanticore pit, so the party can do a cool synchronized rappelling thing, like at the end of the Blues Brothers swat gag   just like in Waywatcher training, actually probably so we can all exfiltrate quickly if need be and not all get caught up if one of us gets caught up on a line.  Survival 10. 

EDIT: "Hmmmmm" OOC: And I'll let DM call whether I shrug and think I've done good enough for Waywatcher work.

The sea lions investigate and come close but do not attack.

Tommary has 1d8 bardic inspiration for the next 10 minutes. “Don’t worry, I’ll Help ya look too, and maybe Ely’s come over and lend you some guidance, and I’m sure Ily can land you grooming tips if nothing else. C’mon girls, let’s all give ‘im a hand.” Toots starts clapping for Tommary without the slightest sense of mocking whatsoever. (Deception/Performance both at +7: 16, but if it’s Performance Toots gets to add +2 from Ever Hospitable.)

The water is warm and salty with a very mild current running clockwise.

The sea lions mostly ignore Tommary as he bobs about in their tank. One comes close but does not attack.

From this vantage point, he can see into the final layer in the center and aside from some bones and bits of metal, it looks empty. There is a door on the south side with a pull handle.

"I do hate gettin' my fur wet...but the poor boy looks so bedraggled down there."

Ilyara maneuvered down into the second water moat herself shortly after Tommary, seeing the door Tommary's multiply-boosted Perception revealed.  "Looks like a route after all!  Good work, Tallboots!  Oiy, girls!  There's another passageway in the bottom of this nesting-doll nonsense and no sign of angry beasties!  Prolly just means they're hidin' under th' sand...here, we make you do th' scut work too often as it is, Tallboots.  Gimme a boost over the wall here and I'll go check th' door for any sorta mechanical or magical unpleasantness."

Presuming Tommary does so, Ilyara slides down into the final sand pit, Rilla in hand, and waits ten heartbeats for her Shardblade to awaken any critters buried in the sand to make their presence known.  If none do, she will check the door for signs of Unpleasantness.  Including too-oiled hinges that will cause it to fly open and vomit people into a slip-and-slide, like certain doors we know of DX

As Ilyara begins her descent, she notices a slight wavering in light while looking at the sand below.

Inching down the side, she feels her foot touch something akin to jelly right before it starts to burn in pain. She takes 1 acid damage before flinching back.

A clear viscous blob forms almost in the middle of the air but can now be seen connected to a huge block of jelly sitting at the bottom of the pit. You are familiar with Gelatinous Cube but this one is bigger and more transparent. It lashes out at the party!

OOC: From a moral standpoint, how would people feel if Toots shot the glass separating the sea lions from the extra special gelatinous cube so we could spend their lives as a distraction? Ily and Tommary use their “gettin’ the eff outta dodge” abilities to get back above the sea lions on the scorpion level, Toots blows out that glass and feed the monsters to each other. They would be fighting it for their lives, but we would be using them to weaken each other for us while we all get back the eff up to the boats and shoot down at them from above like before with the scorpions. Like, just floatin’ that out there as a thought to gauge reactions….
