To Prove D&D Exists for Echolon

Ilyara yelped in surprise and disgruntlement, hauling herself back up over the wall with the alacrity born of acid-burned paws.  "Ow ow ow ow OW!"  Once over and back in the boat, the furling glared back at the faintly apparent cuboid monstrosity sitting there in the sand bit.  "Screw you two, jaggoff!" she snarled, flicking a claw tip against Rilla's blade and ringing the Traveler's bells.

{DC14 WIS save for 16 necrotic damage, or bupkis on a success.  The sea lions are still just kinna sitting there watching with disinterest, right?  Or has the fight gotten them riled up too?}

With a *ding Boink* the sound of the bells rip the cube a new one! Jelly spatters the walls and splashes into the water!

The attached blob pod quivers then lashes out at the foxy lady Attack: 17 Damage: 16 acid damage.

Toots and Elyona your turn!

The sea lions become a bit agitated but do not move to attack. Similar to when to knock on a fish tank.

"KYAAAAaaaaaoww...."

Slapped across the...everything...by several dozen pounds of acidic pseudopod, that heavy hit looks to've left Ilyara stumbling woozily in the boat, definitely bloodied.

Elyona lifts up a prayer to Arvoreen, and a shaft of moonlight appears on and above the gelatinous creature.

OOC: Elyona casts moonbeam, (8j radiant damage; CON save 15 for 1/2 damage) carefully aimed to avoid harming Ilyara, the rest of the party, and the sea lions.  If possible, she’ll leave a “safe space” along the edge of the creature nearest the party, so others can make melee attacks without being affect by the moonbeam.

“This is why I wanted to send Tallboots in all loaded up with whatever buffs we could give him to scout by himself first since he’s, ya know, our scout. Would the two of you get back behind this layer of barrier for protection?!?” Toots shouts at Tommary and Ily. With that Toots plays a horrendous, screeching cacophony on her lute the drives a discordant spike into the jelly’s primitive mind.

• Toots has cast mind sliver on the melatonin’s cube and it must succeed at a DC15 Int save or take 7 psychic damage and suffer a -1d4 penalty on its next saving throw.
• If the Hex she had cast before lunch is still active she will move it to the jelly if possible, if not then ne’mind.
• OOC: Midnight, don’t forget you have 1d8 inspiration.

OOC: Yes, order of operations makes the failed sliver save apply a penalty to the moonbeam save.

A glowing tower of light spears down from the ceiling burning into the cube. A chunk of it melts away releasing a not unpleasant smell of burning fat.

Tommary and Ilyara

Ilyara is actually in a kayak on tier 2 sea lion level.

Tommary advances to the cube "Hey, Gobstopper*, everlast on this!"  With inspiration 2 he brings down the Windbreaker upon it Attack: 13 Damage: 13.  Taking sneak attack damage because of the cube persistent burning on Illy. I believe with his 15' base in water movement he has enough movement to disengage back to his starting spot. 

*He doesn't seem to be aware he's using a reference on the exact opposite of the candy hardness spectrum when name calling the cube a Jolly Rancher, etc.   

EDIT: that would be 15 to hit.  

Again Tommary dashes in to deliver a deep cut into the jelly. The wall running would look extra cool if not for the rope.

Having escaped certain doom at the hands(?) of the malevolent blob creature, Ilyara regathered herself, trying to steady herself as well in the rocking, tumultuous kayak.  "Tallboots!  Watch it, don't rock the boat so hard!" she called in warning before reaching back to pluck three strands of fur from her tail.  Quickly incanting a short, dischordant chant of the Traveler's, Ilyara cast the hairs into the air next to her and watched each one transform into a shifting, weaving illusory duplicate of herself.  She brought Rilla up a guard stance in front of herself, each of her mirror-foxes doing much the same, and waited to see what Tommary and the others would do with this messy situation.

OOC: Ilyara want to roll the d20 or do you want me to do it?

The Gel-o draws itself even with the top of the barrier and bulky masses rise from its surface to attack Tommary and Ilyara
