Tommary the Unworthy could take the rest to get the shock out of his hair and the static cling off his cape (he's probably going to do that Stormwalker and Wind Breaker crossed over his back in an "X" thing anyway, even though he's still a duelist, not a dual wielder).
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Crap, where's tommary gonna sling his guitar with Stormwalker and Windbreaker strapped to his back like an "X".
Perhaps inspired by his failure in making a way across the lava chasm work, Tommary relaxes the resters with a rendition of vault artists The Commodore's "Sail On." The lyrics might be a bit more strident than soothing, but there's a groove there.
OOC: It's okay, AD. Half of Tommary's links sail clean over my head too. Hueh.
IC: "So outside'a feelin' like I've lost five pounds of sweat weight in here...what now? We gotta check that door, but if it don't go nowhere, then...what comes after that? We don't know where anywhere else t' go is, and I don't really feel like spending th' next month going over this great stone turd of a mountain with a fine pick looking for what we might'a missed."
“Well… that door there might be trash; but who knows in this nightmare factory? We never did investigate the outside of the mountain up that ladder where we ate lunch the other day.
OOC: A couple of Midnight’s have been a bit too esoteric, even for me.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: I'm just playing Tommary as he would, kinda a solipsist who's largely talking to himself, he just happens to be in earshot of everyone when he's particularly animated. Misunderstanding The Thinker statue as something sculpted by the Kaiju Rodan is my personal fave Sazarac riff.
Song of rest 3 + hit die 7 + hit die 8 + hit die 6 + hit die 8
OOC: No worries, I'm actually enjoying using this space to "have fun with my weird" with a quasi captive audience to it. But really, nobody got the Eval Knieval Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins mash up? The thing about the way Knivel would talk at the end was based on van Dyke's own embarassment over being raked over the coals for his Cockney. Although I don't think Tommary has a cockney accent. I'm thinking he might talk like the Skids in Letterkenny.

I got the mashup, but didn’t understand how they fit together at first, it took a couple reads through. I didn’t get the rest of it at all because I had no idea Van Dyke had caught flack for his accent. And I have no idea what a “Letterkenny” is.
How many items were we sent to collect? Or do we know?
Fantastic question. Do we know how many items? If so, do we actually have an itemized list or just our characters? (They know but we don’t so no matter what Wysp plops down it’s canonical?)
Aside from that fake looking door across the way and the outside of the mountain, can anyone else think of anywhere else we might have missed something?
OOC: It occurs to me that we have a bunch more keys than we actually used in the Aquamanticore door. I remember we picked one, but I don't remember which one, or why. Entirely conceivable that different keys lead to different places.
Toots pulls the scrollcase of mission information out and starts perusing the details. “Well, I think we have everything we came for: Sword? Check. Rod? Check. Scarab? Check. News of the previous Waywatchers team. Checkcheck. Rescue survivors?” At that Toots nods towards Ilyara. “Triple Check. Intel on the Gnolls? Also check. Additional information? I’d say that’s a great big check too.” As she worked her way down the list, Toots checked off each item with a piece of charcoal from one of her belt pouches. “Can we go home now? I am sooo totally done with this place.” As she finished speaking she slumped her shoulders exaggeratedly before rolling up the mission document and putting everything away.
That would probably be wise.

I had hoped that dinoback ride would have lasted an hour for everyone, but no such luck.

Midnight, if Tommary is also resting, could you please have him play Ely a lullaby?

OOC: Elyona’s (initial) Hit Dice Rolls, using 4 hit dice, 32 plus song of rest 4
Once I see the roll I’ll decide if she needs to use more hit dice
And, MidnightPlat, thanks for another pop culture reference I recognize!

OOC: I had assumed it was a combination of Knieval’s stunt career and the concept of Van Dyke’s character riding an umbrella like Poppins.
