*(Warrens’ Slang for “obviously carrying wealth or precious items.”)

"Ok, no viva for Revolution*, that's fine, I guess if I really want it, I can always use these new dice to bust 'em out like I just did, with none of you guilty by association.  As for the door on the floor, I don't have any ideas other than use some mojo so Toots can fly us over there, dunno if you have that in you at the moment."

OOC: Not only is Tommary totally real combat sports circuit totally real, it's entirely subversive, and a lot of Waywatchers moonlight as contestants, hmmm.

Going for the door or going to find a way out?

I've been less on forum cuz of work stuff but checking the game daily.  Gonna wait on the consensus on available magical resources or coup against Cliffside's establishment so I can hold onto Stormwalker

"How do you wanna run it, Toots?  You got th' mojo to get us over there?  I know Tallboots has better eyes, but I'm easier t' carry and I ain't bad as a sneak.  I could go if it's easier on yer magic."

If everyone wants Toots can polymorph into a Quetzalcoatlus.

"Well.  Either we all go over there at once t' minimize the back-and-forthing, or we do th' same we've done before.  Tallboots and I over there, Tootsie and Elyona over here, make sure that if anything all explodey-trappish happens it only catches half of us, and both pairs have some healing and fightin' magic both.  Think the second plan's th' smart one, but I can see where makin' a bunch'a trips wouldn't be healthy either.  Depends on how well your transformation spell can hold up in here?"

OOC: Toots still has a 4th-level for Polymorph, it’ll last for the duration. (Just as long as the lava river doesn’t KO the spell like the most unpleasant room ever invented did.) But that’s the last 4th-level slot she has, afterwords it’s just 1st—3rd, and a 5th.

IC: “I can turn into a gimongous flying creature that can take everyone at once and then back again if need be.”

"I dunno, Toots fought magicked into that thunderbeast against something that was practically made of this lava, I'm guessing we're ok to fly across without a surprise, that room back that that negged all the spellwork, I'm thinking or hoping that was a one time spell drainer.  I'll headover however you want to get us there."

Using her powerful wings, Toots has no trouble ferrying people across the gap. The door is unlike the others of this place as it is much thinner, maybe just two inches thick where every other door was a foot thick. It has some weight and is a bit bulky. Looking beneath, there is just the roasted hot rock of the cavern floor. Tommary notices that there are a few small runes carved into the edge of the door.

The doorway is just a frame place where the door was until recently. The hinges apparently broke off and are connected to the door. There is just a blank cavern wall with no visible trap or switch or unusual crack/line.

OOC: If 🦤Toots drops the 🦤 to detect magic, she’ll have to burn her 5th-level slot to fly back again, so yous’re on yas own.

Tommary the Unworthy is going to call Ilyra's attention to the runes.  And heck, I'll reach out and touch the runes while ritual casting identify on them on the off chance they do something beyond call notice.  

"I keep telling you lot, I don't know anymuch more 'bout magic than the next Waywatcher.  But all right...I'll see if these tumble t' any old stories I've heard."

"Just saying a door on a floor with fancy runes, which I think we've seen before, could be a literal trap door given it's orientation."  Then Tommary the Unworthy begins a Identify ritual to see if anything comes out of that.
