To Prove D&D Exists for Echolon

Toots uses her Hin Nimbleness trait to tumble between Vor’nak’s legs to the other side and keeps going, risking the Opportunity Attack. She gets as close to 9 as her li’l legs’ll carry her and hurls a 1st-level lightning orb at 9 as a wee pick-him-up: Attack: 15 Damage: 516). 🤞

She then shouts “Now that I’ve gotten your attention, why are you attacking our friends here? If you’re here to bring down this nightmare factory of a mountain, and put an end to the evil wizard whatshisnuts once and for all… then join us, as that is our quest too!” (Persuasion: 16)🤞

As her bonus action she shifts her Hex to the spell casting badger just in case her speach doesn't work. (She’s optimistic, not foolish.)

"You are here to steal the relicsssss? We don't need the competitionnnn"

"HA! that will teach the stone kitty to question me!"

“Well, we gave them a chance. LET ‘EM HAVE IT GUYS!”

OOC: Remember that bottle of liquid lightning that Tommary chucked down 🦖 Toots gullet? That wouldn’t still be juicing her by any chance… would it?

Elyona’s next moves depend on whether or not Ilyara and Tommary make their saves and what Ilyara and Toots decide to do.  I’ll put the options in a spoiler in case anyone wants to avoid meta gaming

Heh...so good news: Ilyara made two unlikely Con saves in a row and isn't unconscious yet.
Bad news: doesn't matter if she makes the next one or not, she's in Critical stage.

OOC: It is not unknown for certain temples and high level priests having the power to bring back the dead.

If either Ilyara or Tommary are dropped by the shatter spell, Elyona will race to them and use her “Lay on Hands” ability to grant them 15 HP. If both are dropped she’ll help Ilyara. [if Tommary/Midnight wonders why, it’s purely strategic: Ilyara has Healing word].  

If neither of them drop, and no one has (attempted?) to heal Layla before Elyona’s turn in the initiative comes up, Elyona will use her Lay on Hands ability to give Layla 10 HP.  When Layla wakes, Elyona will urge her to get back and out of range.

If neither Ilyara or Tommary are hurt, and someone has revived (or attempted to revive) Layla before Elyona’s turn, she will cast Crusader’s Mantle and position herself in such a way that it helps as many allies as possible (preference to helping those attacking K’tinga), as long as it keeps her in range of reaching K’Tinga for a melee attack next round.  NOTE: if you are doing the meta thing, Elyona will not cast Crusader’s Mantle next round if she heals this round; she’ll give up one round’s actions for non melee actions, but not two…unless it’s to revive Layla.

 

 Elyona attempts to to be a conduit of healing, but even though healing energies issue from her hands, it has no effect on the pile of broken stone.

Corinar the Brock snaps out a scroll and affixes it to his shield. You feel a sense of revulsion and nausea just glancing at him - All attacks against him are at disadvantage.

Vor'nak shouts, "Where did that poppit go?! Ah there she is!" CON save 17 

The armored figure turns and pursues Toots!

He raises his hammer which becomes enshrouded in the same yellow mist and takes two swings at her

Attack: 9 Damage: 14

Attack: 8 Damage: 11

9 Necrotic damage if one of the attacks hit.

Pagh rises sputtering from the scum filled waters only to be gripped around the neck by Number 9. The dripping flesh golem begins to repeatedly slam the furry creature against the wall with bone crunching force!
